Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
Introduction
You're wild, no one can tame you, except maybe Jill that is. You're a wild cat after all, no one ever tried to tame a big cat so why would they try to tame you? At the age of 18, you are totally untamed, the only one who can bring out the soft little kitten in you seems to be Jill for some reason. Maybe it's because she's got the same fiery temper you have. You laugh at anyone's futile attempt to tame you. "I won't be tamed" That's your personal motto. Nobody but Jill will ever tame you.
So...What's you're story?
Why do people call you the wildcat? That's a great question. At around the age of five, your parents brought you to a zoo while you were still living in the Capitol and you became fascinated by the big cats. You were so fascinated by them that you painted tiger stripes onto your body with some black paint and in district twelve, mixed coal dust with water to paint them on. You wanted to stand out a bit without giving away where you came from.
When you were sixteen, you found yourself angry with the capitol, Angry at what they did to the districts and so you left. You wandered the forest for a few months before, while stocking up on supplies in District twelve, met a young lady named Mary who convinced you that your life would be safer if you stayed in her home. You weren't very keen about it but your instincts told you to trust her. That was where you met Jill, she was like you in every way, untamable. You couldn't stand her at first but as time went on, you began to fall for her. She was everything you wanted, wild, funny, strong. and most of all, she was untamable.
The anger in you has continued to simmer since coming to live with Miss Mary and you know that if you're ever reaped into the games, you will be proud to represent District twelve, the district that has become your home, as unlikely as that seems, it has actually become your home. You know the people of the district and most of them give you a wide berth whenever you go into the the district square. That doesn't bother you though, you prefer it that way. You like being feared, especially since it means the peace keepers also fear you because of your appearance. There's a reason you haven't been sent home yet, because you're a force to be reckoned with. You're body is strong from living in district twelve where every day, you fight to survive and make the most of what you have. At times, you wish you were back in the Capitol but that would be too easy, you didn't want to be seen as weak did you?
Now would be a great time to talk about your parents. Your mothers name was Ember Everwild and she was a very polite but strict woman. You did what you could to please her and she gave you everything you could want but it wasn't enough. You craved freedom from this dull life you had as a Capitolite. Your father, Jace Everwild, was a CEO of a big company and often wasn't at home. On weekends, he did his best to come home but sometimes, his work demanded that he be there. You missed your father but you knew he was doing all he could.
As a boy, you were content to just sit and be still while your parents had dinner parties although sometimes, your curiosity got the better of you and you would end up wandering around the house, bothering the younger Avoxes to play with you. Most of them consented until you reached the age of ten and you realized how sick it was that these people who served you would never speak again. It made you hate the Capitol as you began to see what they were doing to the districts and your anger grew until you left at sixteen.
What are you like?
For an eighteen year old guy, you're not like most. You have serious anger issues but you also care a lot about your friends. You've become close to most of the children at Ever Lost and have become like a guardian to the younger kids like Thylane. To most of the younger kids, you weren't scary, in fact, you were quite the opposite, you were a gentle giant to most of them. The only one you couldn't stand for some reason was Squirrel. He was just so freaking annoying with his accent and everything. He had quite the lisp and talked like thith. You found it extremely bothersome.
As a guy, people would usually expect that you'd be really into sports but in fact, you have no interest in them, other than maybe running, which you were definitely good at. You weren't an endurance runner but you were definitely a sprinter, just like the tiger you so much adored. You were also a good jumper, making clearing obstacles in your way when you ran a snap.
If there was one thing you hated more than anything, it was liars. You couldn't stand people who lied to you and often, would fire back at them if they lied to you. Your biggest weakness was none other than Fire. You'd been in a fire before as a wanderer during the summer and a thunderstorm had set the forest ablaze around you. You'd hated fire since then. Most big cats you knew of also hated fire so this fear didn't surprise you. You could handle little fireplaces but not full bonfires or anything like that.
Along with your fascination for big cats was a fascination for the Aztecs who used to live in a place called Mexico which was part of Panem long before it was established. You found their culture very interesting from the books you'd read when you were still in the Capitol.
What do you look like?
As has been said before, you are odd for a person living in district twelve, although it's not surprising because you weren't originally from District twelve. You are tall for an eighteen year old; 6'5" and you weigh just over 200lbs. Your hair is Jet black while your eyes are a stunning emerald green. You've always loved your eyes, they're a window to your soul. Not that anyone needs to see into your soul but whatever. You're lanky, with gangly arms and long legs meant for running.
Your face isn't super handsome, actually, it's got a wild look to it that keeps most people out of your way, while your torso is all ab/ muscle. You've had to diet quite a bit, considering the food there wasn't that great or nutritious. You'd also lost quite a bit of weight since you'd left. You went from being this pudgy kid who weighed almost 250lbs to a guy with hardly any extra weight on him. Adorning your chest, as has been said before, is tiger stripes you've painted onto yourself to show your love of big cats.
On your body, you would normally wear a pair of khaki pants and a tight fitting black t-shirt, although during the summer, you tended to go shirtless to show off your stripes. On your feet were normally a pair of worn out running shoes or, if you didn't feel like runners, no shoes at all. Your feet weren't a big issue for you as you had cat like silence when you walked and cat-like grace as well, always walking on the balls of your feet because that was how cats did it. Anyways, it would appear that that is all there is to tell you about yourself. For now, farewell and good luck
