Appearance:
I am a rainbow. Lit up with a bright face, ocean blue eyes, and creamy blond hair, I brighten anyone's day with my smile. I am a tan beanstalk. 5 ft 8 in and 125 pounds, I am the picture of health. At least, I am now.Personality:
Because of my richness, my scars are unable to be seen by those who didn't or did hurt me. And it's all thanks to her. That stupid voice named Wendy. The surgeries have removed the crap that symbolized my pain. The scars. The bump I had on my head. The deep gash in my stomach that almost killed me. And it's all thanks to her.
I am bubbly and I have many friends. I enjoy wearing makeup and pretty outfits. When I grow up, I'm going to be a fashion designer because my personality shines through in my designs. I am kind of smart in my opinion. (No she isn't.) Oh, this is only my alter ego Wendy. I'll explain later.History:
I think the trait that shines through is the fact that I'm friendly. I am kind towards people. (No she isn't.) Shut up, Wendy. Why do you think I have so many friends? My friends don't like me because I'm rich. (Uh, yes they do.) They like me because I'm nice and not weird like some of the other citizens of the Capitol. (You're just as weird. Stop lying to everyone about yourself.)
My flaw is that I'm a chatterbox, which tends to get me into trouble. (Ain't that the truth?) WENDY STOP IT. One time, I was talking to my friend. Now here's the thing. I love her like she's my sister. The problem was that she had bad breath for about 8 months. (It's true. Whenever I showed up, it had been 6 months of this bad breath crap.) Wendy, for once you're right. (I know I am. You don't have to thank me, Miss I'm So Popular.) Now you can cut it out Wendy. Anyway, I was talking about candy with her, then Wendy happened. (I said, "Oh my God. You have the worst breath ever.") She is the reason I lost my best friend. Luckily I got her back the next year, but our friendship hasn't been the same.
I have another flaw. It's a big one. Wendy is my flaw. Doesn't it sound weird? Well, it's true. She's a voice I hear inside my head. Let me tell you, it's hard living like this. (Tell me about it. It's hard being me, Wendy. Some of her friends are icky.) Wendy, cut it out. (Just doing my job, Sunny.) I know. Even though I don't like Wendy...(HEY!)...she does a hell of a good job at her job. Her job, I think, is to make me look bad. (You got that right.) See, I am smart. (Yeah, no you're not.)
I guess I have to start at the beginning. (DUH!) My parents met when they were in 10th grade. They fell madly in love. Nothing complicated. They were just 2 teens madly in love. Everything was normal...until junior prom night. For Capitol citizens, prom is very special. For my parents, it was definitely special. (It was so special, they had sex in a hotel.) Wendy, you know that's embarrassing. (To you it is. To me, it's a story worthy of sharing.) OK. Anyways, their time in that hotel made me, Sunny Blue Sky. My parent were at first scared, especially my mom, because they had not expected me to be made. They just thought it would be a topic never discussed again. My poor mother had to go to school with me in her stomach. The other kids thought she was obese. They would call her "The Hamburger Lady." And it didn't help that she ate a lot during her pregnancy. I feel bad for her every time she tells that story. One day she snapped and told the entire 12th grade, "Dammit, I'm pregnant!" She could now be teased in a different way. Everyone would try to guess the father. It must have been hell for my father to see that. Well, he snapped too. When my mother was 7 1/2 months pregnant when my dad announced that he was my dad. Even though they were teased, it didn't matter to them. My mom went into labor at the right time and I was born. My mother is now 30 years old and loving it.Codeword: odair
My mother once told me about when I came home. Everyone from her school had a party. Originally they were gonna throw the food at her. But I smiled at them, and they were admiring me too much to even think about the food. That's how my mom got all her friends back.
A few days later, my grandparents came. They had my cousin. You see, my father's older sister, my aunt, had a daughter named Aubrey. She was 5 when I was born. Aubrey thought I was a doll and so she took a toy baby bottle and stuck it in my mouth. When I spit it out, she spanked me and I began to wail. She then realized I was real. That's how I met my now 17 year old cousin, Aubrey.
My childhood was amazing. When I was 5, my mother told me me I was getting a baby brother. Of course, I asked if we could give him to the hospital. The answer was no. But when I met my brother, I pretty much squealed with joy. I even named my brother Hawk, after my favorite bird.
However, when I was 8, the bad stuff began to happen. First, my brother was diagnosed with Diabetes. He had to go on a diet and it changed him. After I turned 9, my father became an alcoholic. Most people in the Capitol have been an alcoholic at one point in their life. But my dad was bad at trying to stop it. I remember that one day when I went to ask my father a homework question. He was packing up his items in suitcases. At first, I thought he was taking the family on vacation. He was actually moving away to District 1. I never saw him again. After my father left, a little voice began to haunt me. You guys know her as...(Wendy, the wonderful voice inside Sunny's head.) Yeah. Anyways, at first Wendy would give me advice. But I guess my friend's bad breath changed her. (You bet it did. That's how I became the Wendy I am now.)
Then when I was 11, something terrible happened. Wendy knows what I'm talking about. (I wrote a note to some kids in her class. I called them some dirty things.) That's when my bad luck began. First of all, I got detention. Then the 2 biggest boys in the class took me to an alley and beat me up. They left me in the dark alley. Right before I blacked out, I saw my mother.
When I woke up, I was in the hospital. Facing me were the 2 boys. I guess someone caught them running out of the alley. Anyways, they were charged with assault. I had to go through 3 surgeries to remove any evidence of the beating. However, it changed me. Life as I know it is long gone.
