I'm not new to being a Peacekeeper, but I am new to the Detention Center. I've never been granted this honor before. I'm grateful for this opportunity because it may never happen again. I'll never forget the moment the peacekeepers, my family, took me away from District eleven to torture the animals that's being detained at the Detention Center. These animals have committed crimes against the Capitol, and I believe they all are deserving of death for it. Committing such terrible crimes is terrible. The citizens of Panem can't respect the freedom that the loving Capitol has gave them. I shake my head. "I wonder which animal I'll be making cry today." It's been a long day. I was lectured this morning on how I'm supposed to act. I am a Peacekeeper. I don't need to be lectured because I know what I'm supposed to do. I will make sure this filthy animal is left an inch from death before I let him go. He doesn't know who he's messing with.
It's late in the evening. I sit at my desk drinking a cup of hot tea looking through the files of the detainees. Criminals that should be executed on the spot. They don't deserve to be alive. They are like a bunch of animals no matter what crime was committed. I was taken away from my home in District Eleven to attend to the Detention Center. I've been waiting for this day since I became a Peacekeeper. I'm looking forward to turning these wild animals into tamed animals; animals that bend to their master's will. I will show them the Capitol is right. I will show them the Capitol isn't to be messed with. They will serve the Capitol. I take a sip of the tea before my finger stops on a file. This file stands out to me more than anyone else's. Jack Lexington He has a history of being in the Detention Center before. "Must not have learned the first time." I mutter to myself.
I start flipping through his file wondering what crime this animal has committed. "Let's see here. Trespassing in the Capitol Woods was the crime that brought him here the first time." I take a sip of my tea. Apparently he didn't learn. He should be an Avox by now. He should be serving the Capitol that loves him because they love us all. I run my finger down through the page looking for anything that I need him to confess to. If he confesses to it, I'll make him wish he never did. My eyes stop on the crime he has committed this time. "Trespassing in the Capitol woods. He didn't learn from the last time. I'll have to make sure he never trespasses again." This is going to be a lot of fun. I take another sip of my tea before slamming the file shut on my desk. I've seen enough. I will take it with me as evidence. "Let the fun begin." I smirk to myself.
I grab the shackles off my desk, and I walk out of my office. I shut the door silently behind me. I walk down the halls with a grin on my face. I grin from ear to ear. My mind is racing as I continue to look at the file to figure out which cell this animal is in. A03 I walk through the levels listening to the animals become tamed. I can hear them crying and screaming, and it makes it all worth it. The sooner they become tame, the sooner they can go home. They have to know the Almighty Capitol is right. Listening to them sickens me. They don't deserve to be alive. They don't deserve to be living here in the cells. They all deserve to be killed. They all deserve to rot because of the crimes the have committed. I look at the cells until I find the one that is labelled A03. I stop outside and stare inside. What am I waiting for? I'm ready to get this show on the road.
"Jack Lexington," I state firmly. I can tell by looking at the other animal in his cell that he's terrified. I can tell by looking at him that he's very young, but it's not going to stop whichever peacekeeper gets a hold of him. It better not be one that will let the ignorant fool get off easy. My heart leaps inside my chest at the wonderful opportunity I've been given. "Trespassing in the Capitol woods is against the law." My voice is firm daring him to question my authority. "Apparently, you don't learn. You were arrested for the same thing before. You must be incapable of understanding the law of Panem. The nation that loves you. The nation that feeds you. You will learn that the Almighty Capitol is right." I look at him with a grin on my face. I open the door of the cell and walk swiftly inside. "Jack, you will come with me. If you cooperate, this will go so much easier. I will get a confession out of you."
"Don't be afraid because the fun is only about to begin."
OOC-Sorry it's not coded. I'm just a bit busy.
