Appearance:
I am 5 foot 2 some would say its tall but I think its just right for a young lady my age. I have light brown hair that sometimes looks blonde in the summer when outlined against the light. My hair has always been a bit long. Some say it makes my hair look unhealthy but I say it just makes it easier to put into 2 braids like I usually do. My freckles on my face now although look cute you can tell will not look cute at all when I get older, Because by then cuteness haves to turn into prettiness , if it does not it turns into ugliness.Personality:
My eyes are a emerald green. Some say they look pretty but I rather have blue eyes like my mom. I am a little skinny but not because my parents don't feed me enough just because I actually spend my days being active and helping out around the house. My strength is average for someone in district 10 because most people here lifts hay.
My legs and torso is about evenly proportioned. Although my smile is cute ,and all, I have a missing front tooth from being kicked by a horse with its back leg. This sometimes cause me to pronounce my words a bit oddly. My body is a bit petite but like I said I have some muscles. My skin has always been on the light side for a rancher. I think though that I am tanner than most districts people so I am good with that.
I am a very friendly person. I am willing to say hello to a stranger and my smile shows up a great amount of times.Although I am a friendly person a downside of me is jokes. I never know why but I just don't get them. I will just keep my smile on ,and sigh a bit.History:
Another thing that I feel that I should work on is I tend to get offended quickly. I have cried before when some one called me small stuff. I don't know why but I just am fragile with me feelings. I mean I can be tough and tom boy like but mostly I am just a girly girl.
I love Pink it's my favorite color. I would wear pink dresses on reaping day, but I am one who believes in superstitions that if I wore pink on reaping day that it would become bad luck if I wore it again before reaping then I would get called on reaping day when I wear it. On an average day I keep my body clean I dress up nicely and make sure that I feel good.
I love animals. They are like my friends. I am the type of person who likes animals just as much as people. My best friends are the horses I myself raise with my big brother. Sometimes if we are lucky our horses are picked to pull the tributes out for the hunger games. We get paid a lot for that then. A part of me then feels like by making the horse look so pretty that the tributes are noticed a bit more. Sometimes I must admit it saddens me that my horses have to be a part of the games ,but I look at the bright side like I always do figuring we need the money ,and it may make the tributes look good.
Anyways so far I have raised 2 horses for the tribute parade that have been picked. After 4 years they are now back. The capitol likes new horses. Hopefully the next hunger games they chose another horse or two from our ranch that would make me happy for my family.
My family the Ranch family have not always been called the Ranch family. At one time we were called the cow family. Well then my Great grandma married to the Ranch family. My grandpa that is who she married to. So now we have horses from the ranch family ,chickens from the ranch family, and of course cows from the cows family.Codeword: oDair
Our cows my daddy, and mama raise for meat ,and even milk. I love the milk that we get from the old cow Grassy. My mama said that eventually Grassy will be used for meat. Although her meat will not be as tasty as the other cows she says that it will do for us. I don't believe her ,and I know I will cry when it happens but I know I will have to eat it. I mean it's like most cows but Grassy always was nicer I saw her as a calf.
When I was 3 ,and I could toddle on my little chubby feet. I was taught to collect the eggs from the chickens. We sell some of them to the capitol people ,and the rest we raise so we can see the chicken meat to the capitol people. Those darn capitol people always taking the good stuff and leaving us to buy or get bad meat. I am scared my first reaping is coming up this year. I know it will be bad but my daddy said that I will be ok.
So when I turned 8 I was old enough to start raising little pony and horses. With the help of my big brother we were able to turn out 2 good horses to be shown on television for the tribute parade. We got paid quite a bit. Heck I was able to ,and my family was able to buy some candy and take off for the day. The candy was so sweat. I liked the lemon drops the best. Anyways my brother ,and I have also raised 5 good breeding horses, 10 good work horses 7 of which we sold to other ranchers of district 10.
So to go back to the chickens and the eggs my younger sister who was 3 at the time took over that job. Now she is 8. She really is hoping that my parents have another kid soon so she won't be stuck on chicken duty for her whole life. I don't really care I mean it would allow us to raise horses but then the brushes would be more worn from more people using them. Anyways I have to go get the hay for my horses. There is 4 foals right now that we are raising. 1 of them came from one of the work horses. My parents made me in charge of 3 of them since it was my fault that the working horse was mixed up with the breeding horse. I think that that foul will make a perfect one for the tribute parade. Well Bye! Hay does not lift itself!
