Drawn together by the things that make them horrible, they know nothing of the good side of people and even in each other only see the bad. They are the worst of all, the darkest hearts and most damned, lost before they even really got started. These children live together though they do not always get along, and sometimes even the old abandoned mansion they had somehow come across didn't feel large enough to house all seven of them comfortably. It was a miracle they hadn't murdered each other in their sleep, or even just outright, as all of their personalities clashed terribly. The mess made by their arguments still clutters rooms as no one wants to clean up, both emotional and physical.

Their minds are like a moonless night, dark and foreboding with pictures of evil and cruelty because that was all they had ever known. Raised by themselves or by parents who cared little they came to embody one of the seven deadly sins whole heartedly, though none of them have come to see it. While bits of other sins fleck their personalities it is obvious which one prevails. In the shadows of their minds that sin dictates all that they do.

But even the darkest night has a star.

Each child, for all their horrible points, has an equally good point to offset them. A virtue lives trapped in their hearts, unnoticed by all as the sin seems to be in complete control. But if you watch closely you will see the times when their own goodness leaks out into little actions. Balance is made, but not always maintained. Two sides of the same coin that never meet, just face away from each other until the spinning coin falls.

NOTE

I know this plot has at least been attempted before, so please forgive me for starting with a common basis. However, I would like to apply a twist to the plot that I haven't seen done before - so perhaps this might balance it out. Once again, I hope that I am not treading on anyone's toes in making this, but since I have tried to make it different I think that it shouldn't clash too much.

She is firey, filled with passion and stubbornness enough for a small army. She is the fire to the others, a guiding light as much as an eternal hazard because sometimes you just didn't know when she was going to flame up. Her passion gives her a quick mind and she uses it to focus on the things that need her attention - just about everything to do with the others - so she can keep an eye on them. There is no doubt she is in charge there, and through a lot of... persuasion she had managed to have them refer to her as the Queen. Of course, there could be no royalty without the others holding some title, but those she had made sure to personally dictate. She and [Lust] have a very much on-again-off-again thing between them and she can go from hugely protective over him to raging mad at him with little warning.

Undecidedly bisexual he flicks his attention to just about anyone, but especially enjoys toying with girls and more specifically the ones that live under the same roof as him. He adores any kind of attention, which is why he and Beretta work so well together. Often he will be seen playing heart games with Ansi, but it seems everyone knows that there isn't anything to it, not on his half at least. He takes pleasure in the chase and has enough patience to continue it long after his prey has given in, which is why he feigns love while out catching another mouse in his paws.

All she does is want, but only for herself. Greedy as ripred knows she never wants to give anything away, especially her virginity. No matter how hard [Lust] chases her she is the one person who never give in to him, something that attracts him more to her. Continually shutting him and every other guy out she only takes take takes. She pities Ansi, feeling a touch of sympathy for her but no more than that. At least she has everything and no one is going to stop her, whereas Ansi just mopes about everything. But take take take, nothing else matters. She's even gone so far as to steal from the servants, or just about everyone but Beretta, [Lust] and Ansi.

It is rare to interest him, most things don't deserve his attention because focusing on them takes too much effort. Lazy to the bone he always tries to pass off tasks to someone else, and not even money inspires him because he just gives that away too. He is the opposite to [Greed] and often is sucked into giving her things. Secretly he has a thing for [Greed] which is part of why he gives so much to her, but he knows that he won't get anywhere with her - she holds too tight to her heart and he doesn't have enough motive to work at it. He and [Gluttony] are friends, and they often spend a bunch of time talking - generally while Gluttony is eating. Otherwise, even paying attention to people or what they say is not worth the effort it requires. The only person who can get him to do anything is Beretta, but only if she gets mad.

If he isn't eating then he is just about to eat, it's his favorite thing to do and somehow he is completely healthy despite his horrible diet. Thin for someone with a non-stop appetite he enjoys as many types of foods as he can, though for some he is incredibly picky. He also likes to indulge in baking, and talking. Most of the time he eats all of his baking himself, but if you catch him at the right moment he might let you have a cookie or two, perhaps a piece of cake or pie, a slice of bread. For all that he just wants to eat he is truly kind, amiable and friendly he even treats the servants nicely, something few of the others do. Often he talks to Ansi and listens as she complains about the others, just being sympathetic. Somewhat of an advice giver, he is the one people go to for help with an emotional problem - ask whatever, he's happy to help, but remember to bring him some food when you visit.

Everyone has everything, especially the respect of the others, and what does poor Ansi have? Nothing. Pitiful little girl, she was nothing like the others. Often she feels like the maid or servant to the others, and she has caused herself a self-fulfilled prophecy by fetching and toting for the others despite the fact that she is on - almost - equal ground. Ideas for character: It's wise not to cross me, as I have a fierce temper, I'll cut you down if you anger me and don't even think about double crossing me. If any of the others try to get away with something, I'll explode. I know the others find me unpredictable but I see a pattern, i only anger if something, anything, angers me. I know about [greeds] habit of stealing from the others and I've many a time lost my temper on her. No matter what I do, she never learns. I know that [lust] wants her but I must respect her constant refusal to him. She's a smart girl if only she didn't steal from others we might actually get along.

First Choice: Wrath & Diligence. After an excess of googling name ideas, I'm thinkingggg Beretta Corleone sounds about right.

Ideas for character: I like the idea of her being the spoiled, entitled, rebellious daughter of a mob boss. A brat with a wicked edge, because she's grown up seeing too much and being told it's all okay. Her wrath is a product of that mindset, of being raised to believe that it's perfectly acceptable to break a few fingers to get what you want from a person — broken fingers are totally on par with a slap on the face, right?

At the same time, she was just as quick to learn that you can't back down from threats. Empty words hold no power and if you're not going to see something through, then you shouldn't bother from the start. When she was younger, that was always how she got her way. "Daddy, I won't love you anymore if you don't give me a pony." "Daddy, I'm never going to see you again if I don't have that dress." And the vicious, cruel man who only knew love when it came to his daughter would give in again and again. Until one day he didn't.

So she walked out on him, knowing far too well how to conceal herself in the shadows; how to break a few fragile bones to make sure people remembered to respect her properly; how to chase a family from their mansion so she wouldn't have to resort to anything less than what she deserved. Her fellow devils keep the boredom away — sweet, devious, entertaining sinners that they are. She knows it's good to have people around to bend to your will, knows that each of them will inevitably find a way to be useful to her in the future, whether or not they realize it yet. Even the weakest of pawns is worth watching over, so you can be certain they meet with the most opportune time to fall.

As it is, it's not an easy thing to confront that unsettling stare of hers, so shamelessly strange and feline. The others don't cross her often, knowing her violent temper all too well and perhaps having an inkling that when things seem too easy — like finding a vacant mansion, perhaps — it's because they are. Don't ask where the house came from. Don't ask where the money they live off of comes from. Don't ask about the servants. The Queen will not answer you kindly.

Ideas for character: I think that I'll really enjoy this character. I imagine him with his chin high. I kind of want to play him as, so into himself, he loses sight of everyone else. And then the temperence just adds a whole new spin on it. Because of this, I kind of see him being prideful through actions, and body language, not so much through dialog.

Second Choice: Arturro Aryoyo (Lust) ~~Just because it's lust, I had to give him a spanish name xD~~
Ideas for character: Obviously, I want to play him as a ladies man. Always trying to get into their beds. I imagine him using his eyes to undress every women that walks by. I want him to be as lustful as I can get him. Not only lustful, but maybe even perverted.

As for the ideas you put forward, Lalia, I think they all fit well with the idea of the plot and having them would be a good base. Feel free to use any and all of what you put there because it's amazing. <3

First Choice: I was thinking ... Circe Evadne(Greed & Chastity)
Ideas for character: I named would name her after the sorceress circe in greek mythology, because of her wonderful grasp on her virginity, the sorceress used to lock boys by her looks and then turn them into pigs, for having only sex in their heads. I find this maybe a way she could get adornment to the extent she wants.

Since her greed rips through everything, I think she will resent the queen since she is on the top and wants to be on the top herself, and yet that seems to be the only thing she can't get in her grasp.She normally gets everything she wants no matter the cost, but this is too much for her, she even thought of killing her to get the crown.

I would also say she has a very strong will, to keep her virginity, when everybody is offering to give her a chance to lose. Only maybe it isn't strong will and a hint of stubbornness and persistence. That can be both a bad trait and a good trait sometimes. But the way I would see it it would lead her more to trouble.

First Choice: Masus ~~Masochist~~ Bridges Danforth (Lust/Patience) - You can try to persuade me out of using Bridges for a middle name

Ideas for character: Is there such thing as an autosexual heartchaser? If so, definition - This Guy. The way he pulls himself towards anybody in the vicinity was just out of hobby, but he had already found his true love, himself. He was the king this palace needed, but the perfect embodiment for himself. In his head, he was perfect, more perfect than the others had to offer. He thought everything he did to be absolutely perfect, the way his smooth voice echoed to the way his hair seemed to flow perfectly no matter what, curly or straight.

It's true he loves Beretta thought, but just as a more special toy than the others, except he'd never imagine saying that to her face. He may be the side ruler ~~or maybe even ruler in his mind~~ but Beretta still scared the hell out of him. The way she was fearless and reckless intimidated him, but of course led him to attempting to confront the bull face first. Her fiery edge definitely was an add-on for him, the way she did would break fingers if she had to intrigued him and was fun to watch. Any pain she inflicted to him was merely a delightful addition

Pain in general was a delightful addition, from being punched on the arm to being cut a hundred times. Every bruise and scrap and cut and broken bone managed to make his heart skip a beat like when he was able to steal an eyeful of himself in a mirror. It amazed him how perfect he was even covered in scars, or how weak some others were, especially the waste of space orphans he used to inhabit the same space with. They couldn't live with pain to save their life, even though they had been ditched by both of their parents as Masus had. Any cut on them would have one bawling, and a "broken heart" could inflict just the same.

Eventually, he left the orphanage anyways. The woman and men there ran out, and had all already received their own fair share of him, so of course he left. Others were in need of his perfection, to be held by a god only came once in a life time. Living on the streets wasn't hard, actually it didn't last long. Beretta had found him and of course threatened his life if he didn't get out of her space. Masus hadn't left though, he knew a good time when he saw one and she definitely was promised to provide one, even if she only provided to almost break his nose. She didn't chase him off however, so he followed like a puppy, even when she managed to get her strong tiny hands on a vacant mansion with for him, her and the other five wandered around their god almost pitifully.

Broken hearts were almost pitiful to Masus as well, how could somebody go through such grief over something destined to fail? It was selfish of them to imagine themselves with him anways, trying to force Masus to themselves while there were others who hadn't gotten any of him yet. He tried his best to spread himself around for the better of society, hogging himself wouldn't be too fair either; being denied however, did stand well ground for him. If somebody wants to give another person a present and they get denied, how would that look? For some reason, Greed and Envy didn't get it though, they always denied him even as he is the most perfect body under the household.

Throwing a fit and even resorting to violence when others, even innocently, tried to take something she had claimed as her own. As she grew up, she has acquired many high end object which she keeps with her to this day. If anything of her carefully cataloged possessions possessions go missing she will get it back hell or high water. She has no problems taking from others, most of her collections come from other's pockets. "Kleptomania". She's gay, having great distaste for men. She view them as greedy only wanting to take her virginity and everything she owns. Lust's constants pursuits do not help her stance. This possibly began when her father left her.

First Choice: Vicktor Harold Voracity (Gluttony)

Ideas for character: He's not only an excellent baker, he's also a superb chef. He enjoys cooking for not only himself but for the others as well, even though he usually devours his creations before the others have a chance to. He won't talk to anyone unless he has food in front of him and if he doesn't people better bring him some. Vicktor gets angry when he's hungry, because that's all he cares about, which is about all the time since he's never full. He does however will be able to sit around and listen to someone rant on and on while he eats. He does have that sliver of compassion in him, and given the right circumstances he'll let it show, he just need food to gorge down before. And he does deeply care for the others in the house and tries to be the referee of sorts.

Ideas for character: As much as [Name Goes Here] cares for the world, he just doesn’t want to waste the energy to do anything about it. He thinks that it takes too much energy to just even get out of bed, let alone walk down the stairs. He sees the poverty that resides in his districts and he feels bad, he truly does, but thinking about what to do to help is just too much work for him. He comes across as he doesn’t care for the world, but in reality it’s quite the opposite. You just need wrath’s fire on his ass to push him.
