Mira Quicksilver ~ District 3 (finished!)

Mira is not the most pretty face in the crowd and is more of a tomboy, you might say. She loves the outdoors causing her to be covered in freckles of all sizes and shapes that spread across her pale face, right over the bridge of her nose, and down her long arms. Her hands are warm and soft but they can get sweaty easily. Her eyes are a pale blue that seem to glisten like two aquamarine gems. But one eye droops lower than the other making her seem like she's questioning everything. She doesn't trim her eyebrows as much as her mother would like her to, causing her eyebrows to grow out at times. Her hair hangs in curly dark brown locks the roll down to her chest. She separates her hair right in the center of her head and sometimes she adds even more long curls using a curling iron. Her teeth aren't the whitest and she gets self conscious about her teeth. When she was a kid she fell out of a spruce tree, that she liked to climb every so often, and cracked her tooth.

Her skin is pale and is regularly moisturized. "Moisturize every night dear!" her mother would call. "Yes mother..." Mira has an average body type. She really likes food but she still keeps an okay figure. Her stomach has a bit of fat and her legs are a bit chubby too. Her feet are very big and she can't find many shoes that fit her unique feet. She weighs about 150 pounds and has a height of 5'4".

Mira's personality can sometimes come off as rude or stubborn. She is very straightforward and lacks self control. Sometimes if you anger her she could lash out at you. She comes off as aggressive but she can be very nice, although she isn't the most understanding person. She cares but she doesn't understand anyone other than herself. Sometimes Mira can be sassy.

Mira isn't the sharpest knife in the Cornucopia but she does quite well with her academics. She gets along with people and is, at times, outgoing. She finds engineering and electricity quite enjoyable.

Mira doesn't have any real talent but she knows a little bit about engineering, considering her father is an engineer. She helps out a lot and likes to bring big smiles on people's faces. She likes loud places and she can never sit still for more than two minutes. Her mother always yells at her to be patient and not yell or talk too loudly.

As you can see, Mira is very pressured by her mother. Her mother tries to raise her to be a proper young lady but she isn't proper at all! She loves her mother but sometimes she feels like her mother doesn't love her. She can't tell if her mother is doing this for what her mother thinks is best for her or does she only care about her image to others? sometimes Mira cries and feels like her mother isn't really there for her. This ache does really depress her but with the help of her happy attitude and lovely father she still goes about her usual business.

Her father has really helped bring happiness to Mira's family and she is so thankful for that. She has a special bond with her father this is unbreakable. They understand each other and help each other out in little ways all the time. Her mother and father have grown apart and don't talk much anymore. All of this makes Mira so sad but she never likes to think about it. She finds it best when she stays on the positive side of everything. She just wishes everything was perfect but sadly she lives not in the life she longs for. Perfection.

She knows she wants to become an engineer if she can make it that far someday. She knows if she works hard enough she can do her best in the life she has. She knows her life would be different if she didn't ever live in Panem. She wishes Panem was just a story. Not real. Not dangerous. Safe.

She never really got to know her grandparents before they all passed. Mira remember little bits and pieces of her grandmother on her father's side. She was so sweet and caring and loved little Mira. But sadly she passed away when Mira was 6. She still remembers the warm smile her grandmother would share with her all the time.

Mira has favorite spruce tree she likes to climb in when she's bored or wants to get away. All her friends have a tough time climbing the tree but Mira seems to climb it almost effortlessly. She likes to laugh at her friends when they try to climb the tree but end up tumbling to the ground. She once slept all night in that tree but ended up getting yelled at by her mother. She has been visiting that tree since she was little and has become very fond of that tree.
