Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 4
Appearance:
Tristen has bright red hair, it's straight and refuses to be anything but that. It falls down to the middle of her back, the ends of her hair is jagged and choppy, a result from her parents always cutting it with old kitchen shears; usually it's tied back by a black ribbon into a loose ponytail, but once piece on each side of her face always hangs down. There's a long, 2 inch scar on the left side of her face, but is never seen due to the bit of hair that hangs down; she has two more similar scars to match the one that is on her face. One is located on her forearm, it's about an inch long and the third one runs diagonally across her chest, about five inches long.Personality:
Tristen is an average height of 5'5", with long legs for her short frame. In shape, she is curvy and healthy through the bust and hips, (a 36 D breast size has resulted in a bad posture) but slim through her legs and stomach. Her complexion is ghost white, but has enough pigments to get a light tan. She has full lips, that are naturally tinted pale pink. Her eyes are a piercing ice blue, often sometimes appearing silver depending on how the sun hits them.

The only thing Tristen wants most in the world is to make her parents proud, though she doesn't agree with the methods she needs to go about to make them proud. The games, for example, is the one thing that would make her parents proud, but Tristen can't bring herself to agree with them about it. She hates the games, the purpose, the concept, everything about it Tristen hated with every fibre of her being, and wished things could be different. Always, she will push herself to the limit - sometimes even past it. To mostly everyone she's blunt, rude and pushes everyone away. In reality, deep down she wants friends and to fall in love, she's craving human contact but she can't bear to lose anyone. Tristen doesn't want any children, she couldn't stand the lifestyle her parents have brought her up in, and can't bear to put her child through that. While in solitude in the safety of only the company of herself, she enjoys to sing but is much too shy to let anybody else hear her (voice sounds like Amy Lee's). Tristen is extremely stubborn and hard-headed, but she is a very hard worker, of course, she prefers to get the work done alone away from anyone else. Secretly, she's envious of everyone not being as afraid to lose people as she is. Other fears involve storms, rain and knives.History:
: Tristen had a planned birth, it was for her parents - they wanted a protégée they could raise to win the games, so that when the money was given to the winner, they could live comfortable lives. As soon as she was able, Tristens parents began to teach her how to walk and talk, they made her train every day and constantly reminded her to be strong and to stay strong. So, when it rained she would never run to them for comfort. When it was storming out, she would cower under the blankets alone, too ashamed to let her parents know she was frightened by weather. Usually, when either happened she would just cry in a curled up ball under her blankets until it was over. At the ripe age of six, her father had taught her how to fight with a knife. After numerous days of relentless training with knives, a fear began to form. She was wounded badly a few times from the training, she ended up getting a deep cut on her arm, and an almost twin scar down her chest. A few days after that, she made her father stop the training with them. While her mother was giving her a haircut, she had accidentally dug the blade along the left side of her face. Now, she must be held down to have her haircut.Codeword: oDair
For many years she was under the impression that the games were a good thing, and couldn't comprehend why people resented them so much. Not until she reached the age of ten, she had asked a woman who's son had just lost the games. Tristen asked her why she was crying, and that's when she discovered the truth behind the terrible games. Tristen ran back to her parents, under the assumption that they were just as ignorant as her when it came to the games. After she repeated to them what the woman had told her, Tristen's father shook his head and called her a disappointment.
Hearing this, broke her heart and she made a vow to never make her parents think that way about her again. Tristen started to train harder, she also began working so her parents would have more money; mostly, she did all of this hoping her parents would be proud of her. Finally, at age thirteen she asked her parents what would make them proud enough to want to call her their daughter. The solution was simple: she had to win the games or die trying. Tristen was horrified at hearing this, and it terrified her down to her very core, but still she hopes one day it will finally happen and she's determined to make it happen, no matter the price. To make this happen, Tristen made the hard decision to live a life alone, with no friends, with no man to love. It was a hard decision for her, heartbreakingly so; this was worth it to Tristen, knowing these sacrifices would hopefully someday help her win the games, and achieve her goal of making her parents proud of her - or die trying.
