You never live,
You never learn
You never shine
If you never burn
It was a simple assignment. Show up, sleep in a tent for a night, and at least pretend to form some deep connection with nature. Only this group was different. They weren't friends. They hardly even knew each other. And yet, they all were connected in ways they'd never even imagined.
See, in District Three, everyone was supposed to be conformed into one category. Quiet, nerdy, invention obsessed geniuses capable of providing the Capitol with all of its technological needs. These kids didn't fit the mold, though. They all had their secrets, something dark weighing them down, haunting them, but there was more to it than that. They were different. They were traitors, freaks, outcasts.
They were the ones that dared to dream.Yes, I am finally rebooting League of Dreamers! I'll relist the characters below, but all other info can be found here. CURRENT DREAMERS: You will be given a week to either post in this thread or PM me saying you still want to have a character in this plot. Doing so means that you are willing to actively post in threads. INTERESTED DREAMERS: Please note that until I make an announcement on Friday, September 13th, I will not accept applications. Only those posted after my announcement, once I've sorted out who's active and who's not, will I take a look at. Also, please be aware that you'll have to rewrite bios (I'm sorry! D:) not adopt characters, and that each and every character in this plot has a chance of dying. The form and character descriptions are below - feel free to check them out! <3[blockquote]Username:

Danielle Brooker // 17 // Played by Stare
While she’s quiet and obedient now, it’s no secret that the Brooker girl had trouble with the law in her past. Talking back to Peacekeepers, public verbal blows to the Capitol, and stealing are just a few of the crimes kept hidden in her file. Coming from a wealthy family, she was able to escape imprisonment, though she was often yelled at for her sudden outbursts of rebellion. It wasn’t until she was fifteen that Danny fell quiet suddenly into place seemingly without any explanation – while her spirit still shines through in her outgoing attitude and tom-boyish habits, she is constantly wary and almost afraid of the Keepers, who keep an especially close eye on her at all times.

Ross Wolfe // 18 // Played by Kire
It seems like no one really knows anything about Ross except for the fact that he came from a rough part of the district and he has a somewhat dark reputation he’s trying to escape. Some people hear rumors that he used to be involved in a gang, and the Keepers forced him to move and threatened that if he didn’t behave in his new home, he’d be taken to the Detention Center for a good long stay. No doubt, he’s somewhat terrifying – tall and strong looking with a gaze that hits you right through your soul, it’s easy to think the rumors are true. Even if you asked, though, it’s not likely he’d tell you – Ross is quiet and gets his point across in harsh gazes and a very small amount of words. Still, beyond that slight apprehension that is the normal whenever one sees him, there is always curiosity. Who is the Wolfe boy?

Eliza Ashdown // 18 // Played by Tristen
Eliza is that type of girl that everyone knows and likes because it almost seems like she’s too nice and selfless to be true. Curious and an amazing friend, Eliza’s caring nature can tear down even the highest walls. Despite this, she can sometimes be clumsy and become easily confused, and hates arguing like nothing else. Her parents argue a lot at home, often bringing her into it, and after a few bruises she quickly learned to never take sides in those fights. She keeps that abuse and stress a secret, though, preferring to wear a bright smile and false joy on her face than reveal to the world that she might not actually be as bright and bubbly as people first believe.

Jacob Miller // 17 // Played by Rook
Jake is famous for his incredible art and ability to stay out of trouble while still creating the greatest of mischief. It’s widely known throughout the district that the incredible graffiti that appears on some walls in the mornings were painted by him, and he gets away with it because the Keepers can never prove it was him. He never leaves a single footprint or paint can behind, and though the officials suspect him greatly, they have absolutely no proof to back themselves up. A known ladies man who is always searching for new kinds of fun and a good thrill in life, Jake is the person to go to when you just want to forget life for a little while. He’s not as careless as one might think, however – he shares in common with Eliza the fact that his family is slowly but surely falling apart. One of seven kids, three have already slammed the front door vowing to never return, and it seems very clear that the fourth is almost ready to follow them. Maybe that’s why Jake seems so addicted to constantly making trouble or partying or hanging with girls – he’ll do anything to keep himself busy and separate from the chaos at home.

Ashling Castillon // 16 // played by Dars
The innkeeper’s daughter, Ash has had to work for every penny she’s ever made. She lives in the very inn her father runs, working as the only maid and server in the old, rundown building. Her mother was sick for a very long time when Ash was younger, and eventually died because they could not afford medicine to make her better. The Castillon girl and her father have always been very quiet people who isolate themselves in an area far from the heart of the town, and while she gets decent grades, Ash knows that there is no future for her beyond the inn, though she often longs to work in the more intellectual fields her district has to offer.

Aiden Walker // 18 // played by Charade
Aiden Walker is no scientist, though his parents certainly would like him to be. For as long as he can remember they’ve been drilling formulas and facts into his head, and while Aiden can name all of them off by heart, he can’t make sense of any of it. No, Aiden enjoys the more hands-on part of the district’s industry, like soldering together pieces of equipment or fixing old machines. More often than not when he tells his parents he’s up in his room “studying” he’s really out helping someone with a repair. But Aiden’s about to graduate school, and time is running out – he’ll soon have to choose between being the genius his parents always wanted and the repairman he knows he was born to be.

Jago Valour // 18 // played by Cass
Jago is not new to the miseries of being part of one of the poorest families in District three, having lived with two horrid older sisters, a deaf and blind younger brother and the constant pressure and criticism of a dad that experts better than perfect, he has had his fair share of problems. But nothing can compare to his hatred of women, from a young age he learned how disgusting, self-fish and manipulative they were, it was why, in fact he turned to boys for not only company, but for love. From a young age Jago has hated women it has made him the boy he is today. (<--credit to Cass)
