Mitchell Laws D12 (Done)

A mirror stands tall and wide across the front of the shop with all sorts of things that Mitchell would love to have. The mirror reflecting the greasy black hair that waved across his head in the breeze. The brown eyes staring at the things that cover the shelves across the window shining into the boy's wanting head. The dirt on the face falling slowly from the sweat that the sun was causing to his skin. The pink, plump lips curving as he stares at the sweet books and food inside that he really wants. The flicker of excitement on his face. His slender body that has a little bit of muscle, but it more of just skin and bones than anything else. The mirror cutting off part of his long legs that showed. The boy was about 5'4 feet tall. His arms were rather long too compared to his body.

The scene splits to a boy trying on different outfits in his room on a broken mirror. The snow falls around the outside if the window as the boy puts on a dirty old worn out shirt and a pair of jeans that have holes in the knees. The jacket that the boy puts on over the shirt is tattered and not very good for blocking moisture or the cold. The shining sun pours through the window as the heat begins to roll in. The boy pulls out a worn out blue shirt that is a bit too big for him. The shorts he puts on are a little too small for him and makes him look like his circulation is being cut off. The window shows a rainy and gloomy day as the reaping is that day. The boy rummages around throwing old clothes everywhere as he looks. The white tank top that is tattered and wrinkled is put on first. Over the tank top comes a white button up shirt that is a bit old looking, but it's the nicest thing he has. The next thing to come on is his nice jeans that have no holes or rips in it. The shoes he wears everyday are a bit big, but his feet are big enough to keep them on. He tends to wear a ring that his mother gave him that says "hope." She gave it to him the day his sister died to give him hope throughout life.

The boy walked into class and began to start what the school did to make sure they knew how each student worked. Mitch went and sat down at his desk as the teacher passed the test out.

The start of the test was all about things that described him and explain why. Mitch sat there thinking, thinking very hard of a few things that described him. Well for one, he was quite smart and over thinks everything that goes on and tends to want to learn more knowledge and beat everyone else out in smarts. Next, he is typically evil and tends to like to sabotage others and pull pranks and make mayhem. The next thing is that he is very brave and tends to try new things. Bravery leads to courage and one way or another he was going to be very courageous for his brothers and sister. The very last thing is that Mitch is very hopeful and tends to believe that everything happens for a reason and with hope comes prosperity.

Mitchell turns the page to the second part of the test, Likes and Lifelong Dreams. Likes was a hard one for him, there is many things he likes, but only enough room for 3 of them. The first one would be his brothers, they just were always so great and amazing and they supported each other. The second one would be hope, he just loves the idea of hope and it gives him confidence in what he is doing. The last one would be his smarts, he loves to show them off to others and be a smart ass and prove his point that he is right. The next section was his Lifelong Dreams. There was only 1 spot to write in. His first one would be the fact that he wants his family to be safe and sound, though they are living a hard life being poor and all.

Mitchell flipped over the last page, the last column of questions was asking what kind of flaws does he have. Mitchell had quite a bit of flaws, physically and mentally. The first mental one is the fact that he is a bit of a smart ass and a show off and tends to show off his smarts and prove people wrong. The next one would be the fact that he likes to pull pranks on people and piss them off making him seem annoying and evil towards certain people. The next one is the fact that he likes to be brave, it gets him into dangerous situations, like when he was ten and got his scar. With that, Mitchell closed the test and set on the teacher's desk as the bell rang throughout the room.

Mitchell had such a hard life that most people pity him. He was born into a big family called the "Laws" family. His birth was around September time. At a young age, Mitch was more a boy who liked to read and pull pranks on kids. He wasn't a bully, but he was at the same time. He was a target around the age of 7 for bullies, because he pulled a prank on the wrong guy and it ended with him being bullied. At the age of 9, Mitchell took more likings to sports and playing games with kids, especially Carter. They played tag and hide and seek all day long. Until their mother would call them in.

Around the time he turned 10 things started going downhill for him. One day while going home, he saw a house on fire, which happened occasionally in District 12 from the coal working and stuff. There was a boy who was trapped inside the house and what did Mitch do, he ran inside the house to save the boy. The boy kept crying about his sister who had apparently died in the house. On the way out, Mitch got scorched on the arm, causing a big scar to form later on there. The next thing that happened is the boy who he saved became a part of their family because his parents died. Jack Corradi, was the boy's name, and they became the best of brothers.

At the age of 12, Mitch was told that he was going to get a little sister. Mitch had been excited all day for his little sister, but ended up she died from a birth defect. His mother as a token told him a fake story that involved his sister saying that she told their mom to give him the "hope" ring. He took it and kept it forever, in hope he would see her again. Now at the age of 14, Mitch still is the kid that he was, pulling pranks and studying. Mitch tries to help out the family by going with Jack and stealing stuff around shops and the place. Mitch spends most of his day reading and relaxing or planning his pranks to get pay back. Mitch has had a sad life, but it only get better from here, Right?
