How do I win back by parent's trust?

First of all, Rizz, explain how cutting yourself will do anything productive in your attempts to get your parents to trust you again? In fact, I can only see it having a negative influence. So, get that little idea out of your head.

The only thing I can think of is calmly asking why they've been acting the way they have. "Mom, Dad. I've noticed that recently you've been a bit hostile. Is there any reason you've been acting like that?" Don't argue; don't yell; don't scream. Just calmly ask why. Arguing won't do squat.

First you need to calm down. If you go in emotional, you'll crack, you'll scream and yell and argue.

what does being a "man" have to do with anything? NOTHING! I know where you're coming from because I did this kinda thing once and believe me, don't run away. That won't help in the least bit and the police will probably come looking for you, as they will probably be called by your parents. (I don't like the police but i've never gotten in trouble with them) Don't cut yourself, because 1. it hurts like a bitch. 2. those marks scar over (damn those kittens) 3. your parents will trust you less
If they start arguing with you, just ignore it and leave the room. That's what I do and they will (usually) stop, or go listen to your ipod/mp3. Just don't run away or cut yourself. I also thought of running away but I just ran out of the house and hid behind the garage with my dad (my mom was screaming at me because SHE washed my cell phone, again) and he protected me.

I think your parents are trying to deal with the fact that you're growing up and you don't need them anymore. Plus it is called being a teenager.
If you had a teenage kid would you want them over at their girlfriend's house doing only God knows what? You just have to see it from their point of view.
Plus running away and cutting yourself- how the hell will that help anything? It won't, it'll just make matters worse.

Dude, running away is not going to bring down the fire, you're just gonna add more fuel to it! Cutting yourself is no solution either. It hurts, it's unnecessary and I think you can fare off far better.

I think your parents are just going through a phase where they are protective of you because now is the time where smoking, drugs, and drinking come in...Teenage time, baby! I bet they want to "control" you because they are afraid that you don't know how to. It's pretty damn annoying at times but you have to accept the fact that they're parents...Wouldn't you do the same?

I suggest talking to them about your thoughts and feelings. Hold your ground if they start yelling at you but do not argue. However, you have to make sure they know that you want them to know this is your life. Maybe you can work out a compromise. Hope everything goes well!
