I pad into the dining hall, my stomach growling at me like Del does whenever she's hungry, and get into line for food. The line in front of me moves swiftly and before I know it, I have food in front of me. I'm not super hungry, something light will fill me up for sure, I just need something in me. I take my tray and make my way over to an empty table, I'm tired of sitting with all these guys who are younger than me, there's Mantel who can break like a twig, Linus who's twelve, I guess I could also include Storm from District nine and Jim from district three although I wouldn't consider them allies, just acquaintances I've made.

I don't really taste the soup I ordered but it fills me nonetheless. I look around, searching for someone who's done. That's when I see him; the boy from district two. He seems to be the typical career but ripred he's cute. I stand but don't make a move towards him. He's hot but if he's an ass, I won't hesitate to kill him in the arena, especially if he threatens the small family I seem to be creating around myself of boys. what's the worst that could happen?

Ever since I arrived at the center, I've never felt like myself. I've been quieter and more focused. So this is what the games do to you? I don't like it. I just felt so... isolated, even with my alliance. I want to get close, but I don't want to get so close that I'll feel terrible when the die. I feel so torn. As I finish walking through the buffet line, I head towards an empty table. The less people I interact with, the less people I'll miss.

I eat my food in silence. Then I notice the district 7 girl stand up and stare at me. I look around to make sure she's not staring at anyone else. After that, I realize she IS looking at me. I don't want to invite her over, but then again, she might make a great ally in the games. Plus she also looks like she's alone. After a moment of thinking, I motion over her to sit by me, hopefully making the right decision in the long run.

I feel a blush creep over my cheeks as I realize he's caught me staring. He motions for me to come sit with him and I hesitantly walk over to him. I hadn't expected him to want to talk to me, considering he's a career (At least he's supposed to be). I sit across from him and find it odd because he's all alone. "Hello" I say, trying to put a smile on my probably beat red face. (He's making me blush god I'm pathetic). I don't know what to say as we sit in an awkward silence.

She seemed a little embarrassed when she came over, probably not expecting me to do this. Do good things, good things will happen back, right? But it still was kind of awkward, since I realized I didn't really have anything to say. Then she breaks the ice. "Hello." It wasn't much, but it made me feel more relaxed. I haven't realized it until now, but she seemed to be really blushing. I don't mind. It feels like I'm slightly blushing, too. "Hey. My name's Kyle. What's yours? I offer her my hand in a hand shake. Crap. Did I reply to fast? If it was... whoops! As long as she stays, I'm good.

"Hey. My name's Kyle. What's yours?" he replies, holding out his hand for me to shake. I accept the handshake and a smile creeps over my face. "Hi, my name's Siana. It's nice to meet you Kyle" I feel the blush on my cheeks fading. He seems nice enough, not exactly what I was expecting from a career, even if he was young. I let go of his hand. "So, Kyle, how's training going?" I ask, curious as too whether he finds the training a waste of time or not.

"Trainings going okay. It could be better. And you?" He replies. I smile. "Meh, it's alright, it's nice to actually be productive instead of just sitting at home doing nothing like I'd probably be doing were I not here" I reply. I'm curious as to what it's like in District two. We don't get a lot of information on the other districts so it's kind of cool to hear about the other districts. "So are you a career?" I ask, my curiosity getting the best of me. Siana What are you doing being so straightforward like that? I mentally slap myself. It was a stupid question to ask. I hope he doesn't mind.
