Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.[/blockquote]
[/blockquote]

[/blockquote][/blockquote]We all know that the Capitol city of Panem is full of glitz and glamour. We know that it seems the people there want for nothing, unless you are an avox. Another thing we may or may not know, is that the Capitol is full of ridiculously intelligent people, bred and groomed for intellect to create new mutts, new traps and new arenas. It just so happens, that sometimes these people choose not to enter into the respectable positions of games scientists, instead they choose a different route, in their opinion, a more noble one.
As we know, the Peacekeepers have two different sects. One being the Peacekeepers, the second being the Special forces. Still, there is a third sect, that go by the name of 'Star Fleet'. Rather than simply keep the peace, these men and women are scientists, astronomers, mathematicians and philosophers. They are the ones who drive the hover crafts that patrol the large wooded areas between districts, who's job it is to rediscover lost fern and fauna. They are also charged with keeping an eye on the muttations that live in the wild. Sure, they get to see a lot of stuff that others don't from their place high in the sky, but for some, this is not even close to enough. They expected to see their tiny universe, to boldly go where no man has gone before. While space travel is not a possibility yet, they're sure they can figure out a way soon. Until then, they're happy to simply explore the world that they have, helping out those in need like a motley sort of robin hood crew, even as they keep the capitol insignia safely on their ship.
These are the voyages of the hovercraft, Enterprise, and this is it's crew.
CAPTAIN JAMES TIBERIUS KIRK | KIRK | PLAYED BY THE ENTERPRISING ELEGANTAt Starfleet Academy, Kirk became the only student to defeat the Kobayashi Maru test, garnering a commendation for original thinking by reprogramming the computer to make the "no-win scenario" winnable. Never taking no for an answer, he's a man that definitely leads with his heart, still this doesn't mean he doesn't have a brain! For example, Spock has never beaten Kirk at a game of chess once in their acquaintance. He's a tactical genius and listens to his gut when he doesn't know what to do. His moral compass is straight as a ruler, yet he still possesses the innate ability to piss most people he talks to off. He's a lady's man through and through, believing in chivalry and the gentleman's code completely. Yet, he does believe that a woman is just as strong as a man, if not more. He was born and raised in the Capitol and follows in his father's prestigious footsteps. Slightly rebellious and bitter however because his father remarried and he has a wicked step-mama.
FIRST OFFICER AND SCIENCE OFFICER S'CHN T'GAI SPOCK| SPOCK | RESERVED FOR THE MAGNIFICENT MEGHANTo most, it's like Spock has been raised on a different planet altogether. The man seems cold and calculating, where in all actuality, he has many feelings. He just doesn't know how to share them. Above all else, he believes in logic and science, and will always take the logical route even if it puts himself in danger. Spock was raised in the science buildings of the Capitol due to his father being a prestigious scientist and his mother being an expert at genetics. As a result he has experiments on his own body a couple of times and has the scars to show for it. His ears are pointed from surgery, as he wanted to see if it would make him hear better, and his blood is actually green, due to trying to replace the iron base of his blood with copper. There are a few other alterations as well. Spock is an actual genius and designed the koboyashi Maru himself. HE holds a bit of a grudge for Kirk's illogical success with it.
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER LEONARD MCCOY | "BONES" | RESERVED FOR THE RADICAL ROOKMoody, moody Bones, the man has had a sad life. He joined the academy after the death of his father and the divorcing of his wife, but was a physician long before then. He helped kill his father because of the pain of his sickness only days before the cure for his disease was found. He has never been able to get over this guilt, and is a bit of an alcoholic. He doesn't believe in technology, happier to put his trust in the tools he knows well and uses even better. He often acts as Kirk's conscience to Spock's logic. Seemingly a rather bitter man, he usually has many a sarcastic last word to edge in anywhere. Although gruff, he's a great listener and has helped many a person with not only physical problems, but mental ones as well.
CHEIF ENGINEER, SECOND OFFICER MONTGOMERY SCOTT| "SCOTTY" | PLAYED BY THE GRACIOUS GREENBEADSThe Enterprise, by all rights is Kirk's ship, but in reality it's Scotty's. The ship is his baby, and when Kirk asks for something impossible from it's engine, Scotty is the mediator. He's excellent at solving problems in seconds and fixing just about anything. He's a real genius with tools and is ever working on better ways to fuel the ship. He thinks he can somehow tame the electric currents that are always running through the air, and is never seen without dark smudges of oil on his cheeks and goggles sitting lopsided on his forehead. Scotty's technical knowledge and skill allow him to devise unconventional and effective last-minute solutions to dire problems. There's a rumor going around that his cradle was the hood of a car and that's why he knows engines so well.
HELM OFFICER HIKARU SULU | SULU | PLAYED BY THEHikaru Sulu is the best pilot Star Fleet has ever seen. He's gotten the hovercraft out of many a jam, even when the ship was tilting to one side after a crash with another hovercraft that was out of control. Sulu has many interests and hobbies, including gymnastics, fencing and botany. He can often be found conversing with Bones about different healing plants. Sulu appears to be just a simple helmsman, but can be utterly terrifying when crossed. Taking after Kirk and Spock together, his decision making skills are exemplary, a trait very much needed when one is driving a huge hovercraft. Not much is know about Sulu's past, other than he entered the academy at the age of eighteen.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER NYOTA UHURA | UHURA | PLAYED BY THENyota is the communications officer on The Enterprise. Her job is to keep in contact with home base, as well as keep up on all the slang in each district, as sometimes accents from each area and slang can mean different things. She also has a base learning of ancient languages such as Latin, and Hieroglyphics, in case they ever uncover something in their travels that might have such a thing on it. She is the only commanding officer bridge that is also female, and knowing this, makes sure to prove to the men surrounding her everyday that she is better than them. Although respectful to their officer levels, she is unwilling to take any comments that are rude and has been known to slap a couple of the boys on more than one occasion.
NAVIGATOR PAVEL CHEKOV | CHEKOV | PLAYED BY THEChekov is respectfully the youngest member of The Enterprise at just seventeen years of age. He is an extraordinarily capable young man, almost Spock's equal in some areas. An honor graduate of the Star Fleet Academy. Chekov also substitutes for Mr. Spock at the science officer station when necessary. He has a slight speech impediment, sometimes making it hard for people to understand him. He's naive in a few aspects of his life, never having kissed a girl because his nose has always been stuffed in a book. He is desperate to prove himself and can often be seen flying off to random areas of the ship, just doing things.
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE OFFICER JACKAL CRONE | BLUE SHIRT | PLAYED BY THE LOVELY LALIA
BIOLOGICAL ENGINEER RINTIN QUILLEN | --- SHIRT | PLAYED BY THE SMOOTH SEMPER
**The Enterprise is meant to be chock full of petty officers, engineers, nurses, secretaries, navigators, science officers, you name it. I will be accepting original characters, within reason. They must have gone through Star Fleet, and therefore be from the Capitol. The Enterprise can also take on avoxes, if you so wish to submit one.**[blockquote]
