By the time I had woken up most of the morning had already disappeared. That was the way I preferred it. Mornings are never much good anyway so there is no point of being awake for too much of it. Having a good lie in is one of the the best things to start a day. The only commitment I had for the day was in the afternoon. I started to get myself out of bed and pulled the covers over neatly after myself. Only when i'm too tired to do I not make sure that everything is neat and tidy in my home before I leave to enjoy my day. Once my bed was made I walked downstairs into the kitchen to get myself some breakfast. I was thinking of what to get when I remembered that I was meeting someone later on in a cafe so I had better not eat too much now. With this in mind I decided to make myself a bacon bap and tucked in gratefully once it was cooked. After I finished this I headed back upstairs to get myself out of my nightclothes. It took me quite some time to decide what to wear today but I eventually decided on a long sleeved white top with a pair of black jeans. I fixed my hair quickly since it had gotten fairly scruffy during the night and checked my reflection. Pleased with what I saw, I let out a small smile before putting a few items in my backpack that would be needed later when I headed out into the town. With that I left my bedroom and went into the living room to decide what I would do to pass the time before I had to head out. There was a good amount to choose from but in the end I started to play a game on one of my consoles for a while before saving and shutting off the machine. I grabbed my leather jacket and my backpack before leaving the house to go to the town. People had already started heading into town to socialize and shop so the roads were pretty busy and the chill in the air was calling me to get into the warmth as fast as I could so I sped up a little bit. This continued as I navigated through the many streets of the Capitol like I have done so many times before. As I started to get closer the colours I could see from buildings surrounding me got brighter and brighter. It seemed to be the newest method shop owners were using to attract more business for themselves. In my opinion it made things more of an eyesore because some of the stores near each other clashed really badly with each other when it came to colour. When I finally got into the town I checked the time and found that I was extremely early so decided to have a look through some of the shops to pass the time that I suddenly had to spare. Some of them just didn't interest me whatsoever so I skipped them while others had things that I considered worth looking at. There was a very interesting store that had not long opened and I spent a long time in there browsing their items. In the end I left without buying anything new but made a mental note to go back there sometime to get new things for my house. The town was starting to fill up more and more with people arriving to enjoy the luxury of the Capitol. There was only time for a couple more shops before my watch told me that it was time to stop looking around and get moving so I was on time for my meeting. It wouldn't look very good if I was late, not that that mattered much to me anyway but I guessed that I should at least make an effort so left the row of shops I had been looking at and headed towards the place of the meeting. I finally reached the little cafe and opened the door to go inside. A quick look at my watch told me that I had made it with 2 minutes to spare and a small sigh of relief escaped my lips. It seemed like the one I was supposed to meet hadn't arrived yet so I simply found myself a seat anderwaited for her to come. I could remember her first name was Malissa but couldn't for the life of me remember what her last name was. A waitress came over to take my order and I pondered for a second. It would be a little rude to start without this Malissa woman but I was hungry. In the end I went ahead and ordered anyway. It was her fault for being late, right? As I waited for both my food and my companion I wondered what Malissa would be like face to face. I had only had contact with her through mail. This was the first time I was going to meet her in person to discuss ideas and the like. To be honest it wasn't my cup of tea but it could be interesting in the end.
