Not a minute of peace//Arx

I push myself up from my bed in the morning. I blink my eyes at the first sight of the sunlight in the morning and stretch my arms. When I look down onto my bed, I see it covered with books and paper. I slightly remember barley that I was up for a long time studying. I close my eyes and fold myself forwards. my brown hair a mess and dark rings probably circled my eyes.

I didn't want to get up. I wanted to go back to sleep, and not have to clean my mess up. I was so tired from studying and writing notes, all I wanted was to be able to be free from this, but no, if I didn't get up and clean my mess I will get in trouble with the people that ran the orphanage I live in, and I can't afford to get in trouble again. I would get punished badly.

In a hurry I sort all my books and papers in a neat pile and place it on my light stand. I quickly change into some fresh clothes and comb my hair, which was a very big challenge for me. I had to rush down to be in time for breakfast with everyone else, which I never really enjoy, because I have to see everyone else from the Orphanage. I hate it here and I hate the people here. They hate me and they hate me being here, because I am a misfit.

After breakfast, I didn't feel like staying here and getting teased and pushed around by others. I didn't want to hear their words about me being way too smart and me having no life, it was a part of my every day, and I wish I could get away and that is exactly what I do. I grab my favourite book and walk straight out of the orphanage.

I walk through the city with my book in my arms and my head low and I try to get my favorite bench in the district, where I can read in peace without anyone telling me that I have to get all life and get my nose out of the books. When I got there I sat down and opened my book quietly and began to read, trying not to be disturbed.
