Age: 18
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 7
Appearance:
Weighing in at 220 pounds and 6'5", you would think Woody would be on the "chubby" side. Not in this case however, this 18 year old is all muscle with brown, long curly hair, brown eyes and a casual Caucasian skin color.Personality:
Strong, brute strength comes to mind when you think of Woody. Put an axe in his hand and you have trouble coming for you. Once again, Woody is pure muscle, he pretty much has the power to slam someone to death into a wall or break a neck just like that. He also has very quick thinking. He has the awareness of a quarterback in the pocket.
Of course, Woody has some weaknesses. Being so tall with a huge muscular frame makes him very visible. He is not very mobile either, which makes him an arguably easy target.
Woody is very shy for his age. He doesn't have many friends. He just never has the time to "hang out" with anyone as he is usually always working or helping out at home. When the time comes to making friends, he has a casual conversation with the individual but they usually never talk to each other again. This could be a problem making "friends" with the other tributes if in fact he got reaped. Although, he is very smart having read books of all kinds when he was done with work for the day. This could definitely come in handy when deciding whether to eat a certain food or how to set up camp.History:
Woody would pretty much do anything for his family. Although his relationships with his mother and father are pretty neutral, he has this love for his sisters and he pledges everyday that he will protect them no matter what. He is a family man, willing to do whatever it takes to keep everyone together.
He has always said that if he got reaped, he would do whatever it took to get out alive. He has thought long and hard about this, and when the time came to kill, he wouldn't back down. Of course, there would be that sense of guilt, but what he says is that in the long run it will help his chances of getting back to his family.
Woody comes from a very poor family of a mother, father, and 5 sisters. Woody does what he can to provide for the family being a loyal lumberjack to his home district. His father works 2 jobs and rarely is ever home. He usually spends his days at a local bar. On the other hand, his mother spends her time caring for the girls of the house with the oldest being 13 and the youngest at just 2.Codeword: odair
Woody's childhood was actually very normal. Every once in a while his father would take him out to the woods to help him chop some wood. His father began to take notice in his son's strength and began to take him out everyday. They had a very close relationship until his dad started to have drinking problems. Their relationship has since drifted away and they are merely acquaintances to each other.
Surprisingly, Woody loves what he does. He doesn't have many problems with anyone but he has had to defend himself a couple of times from pickpockets or thieves. He manages on his own and does what he can to keep up for the family. You rarely see a lumberjack like this who loves his district. This is Woody Chopperman.
