Brillig Edevane, 8

Brillig has long straight red hair that can look like a flame sometimes. Her deep green eyes are exactly the color of grass. She is slightly tall for her age, and due to being underfed, she is on the skinny side, and weighs 105 lbs. She has a few freckles that are not visible sometimes.

Brillig often wears her red hair in a side braid, and sometimes two ponytails. Brillig has a scar on her leg. She got it a few years earlier from sewing a coat. Brillig often wears jeans and a green tee shirt. She doesn't have very many clothes, due to being so poor. She always has cuts on her hands. These cuts are from sewing needles.

Brillig is courageous and bold. She doesn't smile often, as she has no reason to. she is so poor and rarely has any time for fun. She is easy to get along with. Once you get to know her of course. She doesn't give up, no matter how tough it gets. Sometimes people say that is how she will eventually die. They say that she should just give up trying to be happy.

Brillig loves to have fun. She wishes she had more time for it though. She lives in a poor district, but that doesn't stop her from trying to do what she wants. She is energetic, and feels very strongly about things. Especially things like the hunger games. She hates the hunger games, but knows in her heart that the capitol will fall.

Brillig easily gets annoyed with people who bother her. And people who tell her what to do. she hates being told what to do. Once, a kid took her homework at school, and he regretted it. She ended up with a detention. Her younger sister knew not to bother Brillig. She knew how scary she could be when provoked.

Brillig was born in the fall to one of the poorest families in district 8. She used to have a younger sister named Lisariah Edevane. She died a few years earlier. Lis died when Brillig was eleven. That was when she had started working in a coat factory. Brillig didn't want to work there, but she needed to. She hated it because many of the coats were sent to the capitol. Brillig hates the capitol.

Brillig doesn't have any big plans for the future. She'll do whatever life bring to her. If she makes it that far. She might not live to see her fifteenth birthday. She'll probably just work in factories for the rest of her life. She doesn't want to, but it probably will happen.

Not much has happened to her so far. All that happens in her life is school, and sewing clothes. Sometimes she wishes she WERE in the hunger games. That way she could die and leave her miserable life. Or perhaps she could win and get a lot of money. Then she could live a fun life.
