The pen hovered over the paper for a moment before scribbling a loopy heart and just the name “Lee” before pressing her glossy pink lips to the bottom of the page. It wasn’t a blatantly obvious move, but there was something stirring inside of her with the images of what he could do, and had done, and she wanted to let it out. She was the perfect soldier; just ask Officer Clayburn. Yet she wanted to be so much more and there was just a glimmer of hope that The Scarecrow could make her even more.

There wasn‘t a peacekeeper in the force who hadn’t heard the whispered rumors of the one making waves; The Scarecrow they called him. Lee was no different, taking heed of the muffled awe that followed him. He’s untouchable. He’s ruthless. He’s pure evil. The thoughts resonated through her as a twinge of jealousy pulsated as well. Should I start this with Dearest my Dear Scarcrow? Or should I just begin as if I already know you. With the way your reputation is spreading like wildfire I almost feel I do. There’s something about the way they talk that I can’t help but pay attention? Are you really all they say you are? A soulless monster who doesn’t bat an eye? So ruthless that even the Commanding Officers step aside when you’re called in? It’s hard to believe all the whispers but without them would I be so intrigued…I’m not sure. Maybe it’s the beast in me that finds you so fascinating, the way your devilish nature sounds so very similar to mine calls out enough I felt you deserved this letter. It could be the hope that eventually our paths cross. I want to find out in person if all that they say is true…maybe you could be the one to teach me how to make my name as infamous as yours.
