2. A medium to light gray.

There are two meanings to the word 'platinum'. One is the shining precious metal, while the other simply means 'gray'. So when Platinum's parents looked into her eyes when she was a baby to see what color they were, which definition did they see? Science knows that it's gray, that it's impossible to have metal in the eyes when born. Except what parents would want to name their child Gray? One might of asked why they didn't name her Silver or Nickel or after another silver element. Platinum's parents have a very strong sense of beauty and thought that Platinum sounded more beautiful, more graceful, more like the lady she was to become. They said that when they first gazed into their newborn daughters eyes, the orbs were like platinum, shining and silver and perfect.
