On My Sporadic Disappearances

First off, I'd like to start by blaming my computer.
It's not like I have a bunch of projects that are making me really busy >_>;
Okay, so here's my explanation. I tried logging on...gosh, how long has it been? A few days ago. So I tried logging on, and my screen went completely black.
Ummm. This is new.
So I restart and try again. Half of it's black.
Progress, right? So I restart again...
BAD MOVE.
The little black boxes won't go away, and then I'm scrambling trying to make sure it doesn't shut down again by itself (which it does, twice), I'm attacked from every side by Trojans, and eventually, I just give up. My computer, lately, has either been doing that, randomly losing connection every five minutes, or suddenly deciding I don't even HAVE an IP address and shuts me down.
On top of all that, I have so much schoolwork lately I worked myself into a stress-related fever and cold that's lasted the past four days. I'm getting better now, but I still have laryngitis. And I'm still taking cough drops and NyQuil every day.
And on top of all THAT, my friends have been having some 'issues' lately which I'm trying to help them work out.
To say it's been a little hectic would be an understatement.
So, to be frank, I might not be on much anymore until I figure out what the hell is wrong with this computer. We've tried the obvious solution, which is to clear the cache, but for some reason that no longer works. It's completely random whether or not the internet will work on any given day, and sometimes I only have a few minutes to check my email before I'm booted again.
If anyone has any idea of what this might be, please tell me? I seriously miss having an internet connection at my disposal =( I have an iPod for YouTube, but it's not the same because I can't access websites like this without it freaking out.
So yeah. I'll be in and out, and if I disappear suddenly it's because my computer has decided my IP address no longer exists.
Let me tell you, it's been a bugger to get school projects done. *sigh* I'll try to check back periodically. But like I said, please inform me if you have any idea what's going wrong.
Fond regards,
Shy.
