Writing~ Says Hears Thinks
The beat of the party was sickeningly loud. It was pounding into Neil's head as he was inside moving around the place accidently bumping into people as he made his way around. A beer in hand, taking swigs slowly. The beat was like an animal. The roar of it was bouncing off the walls and the windows, coming back and hitting Neil across the head like a headache would, but this was just music and Neil was fine with it. A hurricane of music blasting, a hurricane of people and darkness. The mystery of the people.
Neil doesn't know one person here. He had crashed the party because hell it was a party. Neil being the cocky bastard he was had flirted with almost every girl in the house, but all of them were either stuck up bitches or skanky ass whores who he had thought had STDs, so he wanted none of that. The boredom hit him pretty hard as usual at parties that he crashed where he didn't know a single person. He always went to parties like this. He knew almost no one in District 1.
The alcohol came at him one by one. Like a hail storm that swept him away in alcohol. They were doing shots and other things. Alcohol was the base of most problems, but for Neil, it was a relaxer. He could have a ton of alcohol and seem much more relaxed and chill. Today was not that day though. Neil was not calm or chill. He was a bit tipsy, but he was still tense because he didn't know a single person there. Neil remembered a party long ago where the peacekeepers had to come and take everyone out because some suspicious activities were going on and Neil had just ignored it. What he didn't know was apparently it was some fake gang war or something of the sort.
Neil was in a funk now. People began dancing around the house as the waves of music smashed across the place. Neil though, didn't know how to dance. A wall flower along the wall of the room, sipping from his booze. The beat of the song changed and more people were starting to grind on each other like wild, rabid animals. The girls in the room looking for a guy to please their ever growing needs. They were like animals searching for their prey in a flock of birds.
Neil's eyes scanned the crowd, avoiding all the girls he can. That was when they landed on a guy in the corner of the room, sipping some sort of booze. Neil studied the guy because that's what he does. The boy seemed to look like the career type that would demolish anyone in his path. Brown hair that is styled a bit. The guy had some pretty big muscles compared to Neil who was scrawny, but still was toned. Neil watched the guy carefully, making sure if he was drunk or not, but it was obvious that he wasn't. Neil was just tipsy. He didn't feel like drinking a lot, since he didn't want a hang over.
Neil made his way over to the corner where the guy was and watched him, when the guy looked at Neil, Neil sort of looked at the guy and walked forward a bit more slowly, hands feeling sweaty. Why am I getting nervous all of a sudden. This never happens... Neil finally leaned against the wall he was on and looked at the guy. Neil gained his composure back and smirked at the guy. "What's someone like you doing at this party? I wouldn't expect it? Though you are considerably handsome. Maybe you're some sort of player. Oh well. I'm Neil by the way. Just need someone to talk to and you seem friendly."
Neil smiled at the guy who was probably going to kick his ass, but that was what he was hoping for. He deserved to be beaten sometimes. They just show that he isn't strong enough. One day he will be strong. Strong enough to prove to his family that he is the best.
(Ok I dunno what happened here, but here you go Pythor... this sucks omr, it'll be better as we go along ....)
