Appearance: Chloe's tall and lean body provided the support she needed as she helped her Aunt when it came to taking care of the house. She didn't go to school on a regularly basis, since her Aunt always needed her help with various things. However, she still got a decent education. Since she is so physical when it comes to helping her Aunt, it has caused Chloe to become quite strong.
Chloe's blonde hair had the occasional dark streak- and it was obvious her hair color came from her mother. What wasn't obvious was where her lavish brown eyes had originated from. Chloe's lips are naturally thin, and pink with a tint of red, as are her cheeks, which people always comment as being "naturally flushed with a red glow".
Chloe often wears more tom-boyish things, for she is, well, rather tomboyish. You'll see her walking around with jeans and boots on, and you would instantly be able to recognize she isn't one that is quite in to wearing makeup and gossiping with friends.Not that people who don't live in the capitol wear much makeup anyways.
Personality: To others she is known as that tom-boyish kid you sometimes see across the hall in school. But to her family, she is very uptight and demanding, however boy-ish natured her personality may be, it still has its quirks. While in school she acts smooth and plays everything off cooly, she is the exact opposite at home, where Chloe is known for her feminine traits just as much as her boyish ones.
Chloe tries her best to be outgoing and help those around her, but sometimes she falls short of even doing that. While she is shy when it comes to being athletic, she isn't afraid to show how intelligent she is. She may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but she is far from the dullest!
Ever since Chloe learned about how her mother was reaped when she was a baby, being killed off in the Hunger Games, she has tried to be as thankful for everything she has as she can be, and not take anything for granted. While she may fall short sometimes, she is still thankful whenever she realizes she can be. This has helped her learn to accept many things in life, and has helped keep her calm during the reapings, for she believes that if she is reaped, god has a reason for it to be so.
History: Chloe was born to a widowed school teacher who was only 24 years of age. It was extremely hard for Chloe's mother to support her, so she was often working late at night and getting little sleep to keep getting a steady enough income to provide Chloe with everything she needed to survive. The days dragged on and on and it seemed like there would be little to no hope for the widowed mother- and there wasn't.
One night out of the blue, Chloe's mother became deathly ill. Chloe's Aunt Patricia, or Patty for short, had come in to take Chloe away from the dying mother. Cynthia, Chloe's mom had made Patty promise to take care of Chloe- in which Patricia reluctantly accepted to do so. It was then that Patricia, (who was still only 17 at the time and still living with her mother and Chloe's grandma,) had taken her back to her house. It was there Chloe would be in the safekeeping of two mature women.
When Chloe was 9, her grandmother died in the middle of the night due to a painful heart attack. That left Patty to take care of Chloe alone, who managed to land the job her mother had before she died- a factory worker. For the next few years, nothing eventful happened, but now Chloe is in the 8th grade, almost a 14 year old, and Patty and Chloe aren't living- but surviving.
