Through the lonely forest I must go. Onwards and onwards, I must travel. Many other people I’ve bumped into on my journey have asked me where I intend to go. The answer is, out of this country. I wish to find a safer place, a place where I will be free to have children, a place where my children won’t have to fight for their lives in the cruel so called “game” we call the Hunger Games. My journey is to the ocean, as it is my ticket to another continent. Many ask me, “how will you get over the ocean?” The answer is simple. I will build a thing that is supposedly called a boat, and I will sail across the ocean.
My journey has been successful so far. I have made it to the boundary of district three, which I will venture into tomorrow. I am prepared for any trouble I might bump into, such as a peacekeeper. I only rest occasionally, as I must not let my guard down if I wish to live. I hunt and walk most of the time, as it will be a long journey to the ocean.
