"We are going away for the weekend to get away from the two of you, be responsible" Fenna's mother called as Her mother and father headed out the door for a weekend getaway to one of the hotels in the district. She felt a flutter in her stomach. A whole weekend to spend with her boy-friend Reagan. She smiled as she realized what that meant. They wouldn't have to fear her parents barging in on them or her brother, who was away for work, coming home to bother them. They could do as they like all weekend. I wonder what we'll do this weekend. she thought, looking around the house which seemed surprisingly empty. Her mother had left them some food for the weekend, with instructions on how to prepare it, mostly just re-heating leftovers. There was no way they would burn down the house, at least that she could see. Although, you never know, knowing Reagan and I, that could possibly happen. She thought in amusement. She'd met Reagan sometime in the middle of winter, right before a snow storm and had invited him in. He'd been a bit of a street rat but now, whenever she looked at him, she saw how much he'd changed. He no longer had the scruff under his chin and his dark hair was actually trimmed. Speaking of hair, Fenna realized that her hair was a mess and ran her fingers through her hair. Upstairs, she could hear Reagan was awake and would probably be down soon. She cleaned up the kitchen from the whirlwind that had been her mother that morning and put away the dishes, which were stacked clean on the counter.
She went up to her room, eager to get dressed for the day, and looked through her clothes. What could she wear? Hmm, maybe I should wait till Reagan comes out to ask him his opinion she thought, wrapping her housecoat around herself. It was soft and fuzzy, covered in adorable little snowflakes that reminded her of the day she'd met the boy of her dreams. She smiled at the memory before heading downstairs. Mid-morning sunlight filtered through the curtains of the living room and she smiled. The fireplace in the center of the room was cold. They wouldn't be using it again till winter so the woodpile her dad normally kept near it was empty. She heard footsteps on the stairwell and stood up, running over to Reagan and she threw her arms around him, kissing him. "Good morning, love, my parents decided they needed a break from the two of us so we have the house to ourselves this weekend." she said, smiling up at him.
OOC: Hope you like the new table for her and this will be fun. No parents and two teenagers in love, what could possibly go wrong?
