Hope Marie Dimond District 12 WIP

People talk of hope as if it is real. Most in district 12 know that hope doesn't exist. Hope is something that we dream of. Hope is in our dreams. The plesure of a dream is it will never come true.So hope is nonexistant it is a dream that will never become reality. I am Hope and I have abondon my self.

I just named a list of things that dont exist and never will. Hope,peace,dreams, and love sound nice dont they. I am Hope and I have abondon them. What does hope even mean. Hope is to want something. If you want something it will never come. I learned this at a young age. Though I think I should start at the begining.
Hi im Hope Marie Dimond, im 11 years old and this is my story. I have short blonde hair with brown highlights. It is thin and often messy. My eyes are blue like crystle. I have pink cheeks and pale skin. Im also really short, ill get more into detail later. I live in the seam at district 12. I have abondon my self. What does that mean? It means I have gaven up hope.

Dear Diary,
I woke up glad from a break in the summer heat. I brushed out my hair with my fingers and then ate some huckle berries. In class today we wrote poems. Heres mine:
I see Moonlight here,
I see Moonlight there,
I see Moonlight everywhere,
I cry silently in the night,
As Moonlight illuminates my tears.
That was my poem. When I got home I showed it my little sister Julliete, it made her cry. As I right this my cat Lilly is nestled on my lap as i snuggle next to my little sister on our pile of blankets. A smile fire gives me light and warmth. The fire is a symbole and hope and shortly will be destroyed just as hope is. Earlier Julliete asked me what hope is. I told her the truth, I told her hope is make belive. I learned when I was 5 to give up hope.
I was playing in the filed picking flowers not a care in the world, those were the good days. I asked mom if she wanted to play "Mommy wanna play dollies" I only had two dolls. They were whittled by my father. I named them Sally and Lacy. Her face was tired and her hair was gray even tjhough she was only 26. "Sure" she said smiling then she collopsed. She had a heart attack at the time Julliete was 2. The neighbors tried to help, the peacekeepers could care less. In there eyes it was 'Oh look another person dying, that makes 5 today, nothing new here'. As mom died I ran right into the fence. I thought 'Im dead now just like mommy is'but I wasnt. The fence wasnt on. I ran outside I was starving I found tons of huckleberry bushes. I came back at sunset. I realised anyone could die at anytime.
