welcome back
Welcome to Solitude, kid. Forget everything you know about the world, because you're wrong. The truth is, and this might be hard for you to take, you've not been with us for a long, long time. You're in District Six, Panem. Remember? It'll come back to you eventually, but for now try to focus on what I'm saying.
You've been in a coma. Your subconscious has created a world in which you feel safe, a world that may be very different to our own. It's gonna take you some time to get used to being back in the real world, but that's what we're here for. We don't just look after comatized kids, we help rehabilitate them.
Some don't ever wake up. Look around you. There are dozens of kids still locked in their own subconsciousness, struggling with the lives inside their heads. You're lucky you made it, 'cause not everyone does. See the red button by each of the bedside monitors? They're the alarm clocks. They will wake you up from a coma. Only I have the access key for them. Problem is, not everyone survives it if it's forced, and even if they do there can be side-effects. Much easier to wait until the patient wakes up. Only exception is if they're Reaped. I have to wake them up...
Oh, another thing. A lot of the equipment you see around you is very, erm... Expensive. Don't touch it. I went through a lot to acquire it all, and most of it's from the Capitol, so don't go running your mouth about it. Good.
Now that you know the basics, there's a lounge upstairs and dormitories. You're welcome to stay with us for as long as you like. It's going to take some time for you to get your head around this, so I'll leave you alone for a while.

AWAKE
[/i][/font]Dr. Frazier Praxis - Played by Rook
A stubborn, over-the-hill, overweight man with a superiority complex and heaps of political incorrectness. He has a dark past he doesn't like to discuss, and he will wash that away with alcohol and cigarettes. He is almost definitely sexist, disablist and very homophobic. Once, he was a great doctor who worked wonders in the Capitol, at least that's what the other patients seem to say. What could have driven him to steal Capitol equipment and help bring back comatized citizens in Six? He has a faded Capitolesque accent now masked with a thick, urban twinge. He's in charge, so don't get on the wrong side of him. He has a gun and a wicked temper, but it's hard to say which is more of a threat. Oh, and he doesn't answer to anything except "Doc'."
Illyasviel Royale - Played by Python
A miserable asthmatic who would rather be in a coma than face reality. Her life took a turn for the worst when her father was arrested and sent away to be Avoxed after sexually assaulting one of her younger classmates. After the incident, her friends betrayed her and became her bullies. It was thanks to them cornering her in the alleyway that a severe asthma attack drove her into a year-long coma. It was a coma that should've ended much sooner, but something Illya wanted to last forever.

Galaxy Clements-Rose - Played by Shrimp
For years all she saw were the stars; she would calculate and graph and observe with the utmost precision. But one night instead of gazing up at the stars, she stared down at the ground as she fell closer and closer and closer. Now all she can remember is her name, her age and the thrill of weaving the constellations together in her slumber. Yet as Galaxy tries to rediscover herself and those around her she doesn't realize that she might not like what she'll find, and the mysteries as to how she "fell" may rear their ugly head all too soon.

Napoleon Bloom - Played by Lalia
One would think a drug dealing conman with a bad habit of consuming more morphling than he sells wouldn't have much to be conceited about, but an egomaniac like Poe would be quick to contradict that misunderstanding... if his silver tongue were any good to him now that he's been knocked unconscious. As it is, no one seems to miss him any more than they miss his brother Aesop — the second place loser of the 59th Games. For someone who claims not to feel guilt over refusing to Volunteer to save his brother back then, the landscape of his subconscious certainly bears a striking resemblance to a particularly infamous Arena...

Sign-ups are open! There are eight slots open currently, but I will expand according to demand. The aim of the plot is to interact and most of all develop. There is no set plan, but I will be throwing curveballs in where I see fit. Patients can be any age, it's up to you. It'd be nice to get a mixture of asleep/awake characters, but bare in mind that asleep characters will be posting on their own, as they cannot interact with any one else. You can, however, choose to wake up your asleep characters whenever you wish.
