London Bridges (District 11)

Where shall I start with London, a boy who is small for his age, only being 5"2 and weighing 140 lbs. He is African American and he has a rough looking face, and usually his clothes have a dirty look to them. Usually there's scratches or bruises on his arms and sometimes on his face.

Most of the time his hair is greasy, and he likes it cut short. From lack of water to bathe in it stays greasy for long periods of time. He has rough palms and their usually filled with dirt, or crusted mud. Some people would say that he is attractive, some would mostly see that he is the runt of his brothers. He is not powerful and cant really be seen from a crowd. He is black haired and has brown eyes, a trait acquired from his mother.

In all honesty, if you were to look for London in a crowd of people, he would appear to fit in with the rest. His small appearance also helps him fit into small places, making him able to get things a normal sized boy could not. Some things about him that would make people think hes unattractive are his teeth, which are stained yellow and partially crooked, his family cant afford any dental care for him. London's hair is also fairly thick and not only greasy but messy when it grows out.

London has always been a peaceful, passive person. He would never wanna actually start an arugment but be a person to settle an argument. He was always an adaptable and adventurous person, always trying to be courageous through tough times. He is also generous and gentle to everything and anything, he is very respective of nature and its beauty.

London has flaws that show through his gentleness and kindness. He was never a powerful person because of his size. Some times when put in a bad enough situation, his bravery fades away and turns to anguish. London has always cringed at the thought of the Hunger Games, seeing so many innocent children parish. He has never wanted to watch it. That is what truly makes him fearful.

Aside from London's flaws, he has some really great traits that help him. He is one of the fastest people in his school and he has some athletic traits, speed and agility. He can easily evade an attacker if he had to. His size helps him to climb obstacles and slip past most people who pose a threat. He wouldn't want to ever harm anyone even if he was in the Hunger games and he had to.

London's history is part of what makes him a good person, he has seen his brothers get beaten by his father and has seen his mother get beaten. because of his father being an alcoholic most of the time, spending most nights getting beyond just drunk. He has learned to not take his anger out on himself because of this. When London was born, his brothers took him in and tried to make him strong, but that failed. They still care for him, but London is basically the runt of their family. Thankfully, none of his brothers have been reaped into the Hunger Games and none of his friends have, but that doesn't matter because he and his friends are still young.

Throughout his school years, London was above average in intelligence and one of the top students, which made him a target for bullies. So sometimes he would get bullied, but his brothers usually took care of that and walked him to and from school. One of his brothers is 18, and the other two are 16 and 17. They all were born a year apart.

When London was five, that's when he ran into the metal while helping his dad. He had to go to a doctor who was in the village and the whole experience was painful and traumatizing, mainly because he was awake most of the time with the occasional fainting moments he had. To this day London is aware of surroundings. His history impacted him and molded him to who he is.
