The Jarretts

On that imaginary border between the rich part of District eleven and the poor part, though the line isn't as imaginary as you might think, there resides a large house. It is far from a mansion, in both glory and value but it rivals some larger homes for size, and you can see where it was once a beautiful place, built and maintained with the utmost care. Now, sadly, it is falling into a state of ruin. Still it is where the Jarretts live, the place they raise their children and the place they will hopefully never lose. By chance they had come across it, after the birth of their twins, and the cost had been low enough that they had seized the chance. It may not resemble its former beauty or grandeur, but it is what shelters from storms, both of the natural and human kind.

Not to mention, this old house holds many secrets, most of which Mr. and Mrs. Jarrett are too busy caring for their children and working to learn of. Thankfully, they have many little explorers under their service, and often the sounds of a game of hide and seek can be heard down the halls. It's all the Jarretts can do to survive with so many mouths to feed, but the eldest two children have taken it upon themselves to place their names more times into the reaping for the chance at having something to eat during the day. With the contributions from the children, the Jarretts manage to hold on, somehow.
