Hello all!
One of my characters, Leonard Terrapin, has been in need of little brothers for a while now. I feel now is as good a time as any to look for some interest, given the parameters of the quell's requirements.
The story of the four Terrapin brothers goes something like this. Around the time that they were in the 2 to 8 age range, their parents were killed in a freak boating accident and they were sent to live with their grandfather, a harsh but well meaning man who took it upon himself to train the four of them to peak efficiency with the intention of making them into star careers. Each of them has been trained in a different weaponry discipline and secondary skill. To give you an idea of what the characters are like:
My character Leonard is the oldest at eighteen. He's a leader, a tad full of himself and often practices combat on the beach of district four at night. He has always been the fastest runner out of his siblings, eager to race and to improve his footwork. His grandfather taught him how to use blades from an early age, particularly swords.
Donovan is the second oldest at sixteen. As the most intelligent of the quartet, he spends a lot of time in his grandfathers shed, studying the human body and how to hurt or heal it, as well as tinkering with traps and other things that could prove advantageous in the arena. In contrast to his book smarts, his weapon of choice happens to be those of the blunt variety; (Staffs, clubs, hammers; that sort of thing.) Anything capable of dealing out punishing, bone-breaking blows in a short amount of time.
Ralph is the next brother, at fourteen years old. Of the four, he happens to be the most volatile. It's really easy to get him angry and he has a habit of doing first and asking questions later. It's common for him to get in trouble with their grandfather and get his knives taken away for a week or two; though he generally finds a way to get them back. When he's not trying to pick a fight with someone, he can be found attempting to lift weights and get strong.
The youngest is thirteen year old Michael. He's just started his career training, with his grandfather deciding to teach him how to properly use a bow and arrow. Michael doesn't really take anything seriously and considers career training to be a game. In fact, he makes a game out just about everything and constantly jokes about whatever pops into his head, even if it doesn't make any sense. Out of the four, he's the most likable and charismatic.
If you're interested in playing one of them, just post a reply on this thread saying which one you'd like and give me some details about the direction in which you'd take the character. I'll look over the apps and pick some people on the 21st ^^
