Down The Rabbit Hole... And Into D13 (OPEN)

This plot is being reopened for applications for the Dodo, Knave, Tweedles, and Jabberwocky. All other characters are taken at the moment.

If there's an overwhelming amount of interest... I might consider adding one or two more characters (like sayyyy the Mock Turtle <3) but I didn't say that.

THE CHARACTERS

ALICE // OPHELIA DARLING
(Female, 16, Lily Collins FC) [Lalia]

Tries to be reasonably polite to everyone she meets. Over-romanticizes EVERYTHING in a way that often ends up being rather off-putting to those around her. Has difficulty understanding other people's perspectives (and they, in turn, often have difficulty understanding hers). Likes to contradict other people's logic and often tries to play her silliness off as matter-of-fact. Curiously harasses wanderers for stories of the outside world. Extensive collection of stuffed animals — her favorite is a cat named Dinah. Idolized the White Rabbit when she was young and followed them around meeting all her strange new frands along the way ? Doesn't get along well with the Queen of Hearts.

WHITE RABBIT // DEVYN WHEATON
(Female, 19, Alison Pill FC) [Dee]

Twin sister to the March Hare. High strung about punctuality — does their best to stick to D13's schedules and freaks out when running late. Likes to do things by the book. Scolds others for breaking the rules. Patronizing towards those believed to be "beneath" them, but a submissive, groveling, brown-noser toward their "superiors." Prone to nervousness. Work-a-holic. Panics at the thought of losing their job. Very logical.

CHESHIRE CAT // CHESTIBOR ROCHDALE
(Male, 19, Jack O'Connell FC) [Aya]

Trickster. Finds it amusing to try to confuse people, yet can be very helpful/informative to people who know how to ask the right questions. Mischievous grin. Likes to tease Alice. Stealthy — knows how to enter and exit a room without anyone noticing. Flaunts their disregard for D13's rules, but always seems to find a way to escape punishment.

MAD HATTER // BARTHOLOMEW CREED
(Male, 21, Ian Brennan FC) [Cameron]

Close friends with the March Hare and the Dormouse. Fond of tea. Tends to lose track of time and seems to get caught more often than not when breaking D13 rules. Works as a messenger? Likes to wear hats, yo. Easily won over by flattery. Some kind of a neurological problem?

MARCH HARE // JACE WHEATON
(Male, 19, Spencer Smith FC) [South]

Twin brother to the White Rabbit. Close friends with the Mad Hatter and the Dormouse. Fond of tea. Easily distracted. Goes a million miles an hour and doesn't stop for anything. Bit socially awkward.

DORMOUSE // MALAKAI MOTTERSHEAD
(Male, 17) [Wolf Tears]

Afraid of/intimidated by the Cheshire Cat. Narcoleptic? Talks in their sleep. Close friends with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Fond of tea. Lazy. Dislikes the stuffed cat (Dinah) Alice carries around.

CATERPILLAR // ACERBUS SPEKS
(Male, 29, Daniel Radcliffe FC) [Shrimp]

Teacher (believes the mind grows with knowledge and shrinks without it). Heavy smoker — likes to give advice in exchange for cigarettes. Short. Prone to rudeness.

DODO (Gender Optional) [OPEN]

Tends to stammer. Terrible sense of direction — often gets lost wandering circles in the halls of D13. Indecisive.

KNAVE (Gender Optional) [OPEN]

The scapegoat that everyone blames for everything, even when it's clearly not his fault. Was previously blamed for at least one of the incidents of the Walrus/Carpenter's food stealing. Soft-spoken. Bad at defending himself. The King of Hearts' younger cousin.

QUEEN OF HEARTS // CORA DEWITT
(Female, 20, Evan Rachel Wood FC) [Lulu]

The White Queen's rival/frenemy. Passionate. Short tempered. Easily offended. Extremely judgmental. Approaches all problems/conflicts with the same severity, whether large or small — off with their heads! — but although she demands harsh punishments and her lackeys humor her to her face, the sentences are rarely carried out. Cruel toward animals; maybe involved somehow with D13's animal farms? Secretly runs a cockfighting ring (with the Jabberwocky?)?! Feared by many. Dating the King of Hearts. Doesn't get along well with Alice. Friends with/bodyguarded (lol idek how to phrase this) by the Jabberwocky.

WHITE QUEEN // LIA SUMMARELL
(Female, 18, Indiana Evans FC) [Stare]

The Queen of Hearts' rival/frenemy. Claims to be clairvoyant (although she frequently admits that the things she "sees" about the future must be difficult for other people to believe), but quite absent-minded and forgetful about the past. Rather a little on the dumb side.

WHITE KNIGHT // XENA OF AMPHIPOLIS
(Female, 27, Lucy Lawless FC) [Chaos]

Easily swayed by power. A protector/rescuer to the White Queen. Likes to wander the forest. Terrible at riding white horses — tends to fall off rather a lot. Has collected a hilariously random assortment of items during her wanderings. What a lovely bag of chandeliers, bee hives, and mouse traps you have there! Emotional and/or social clumsiness? Sometimes recites lines from this XD... something? Friends with the Talking Flowers (bonded over shared love of the outdoors?)?

KING OF HEARTS // ELVIS ASLAN
(Male, 25, Robert Pattinson FC) [Kay]

Dating the Queen of Hearts and is significantly more likable than her. Apologizes to the people the Queen of Hearts terrorizes when she's not paying attention, but pretends to go along with her every whim to her face. Is the only person who really knows how to calm the Queen of Hearts down when she's worked up. Tends to be quite immature. One of the judges on D13's disciplinary board? Knave's older cousin.

PLAYING CARDS // CASSANDRA "DEUCE" MISÉRE
(Female, 17, Mary Elizabeth Winstead FC) [Charade]

The Queen of Hearts' lackey (is terrified of her), but not a very good one. Too timid to truly be mean, so they can rarely bring themselves to do much more than spread rumors about the White Queen. The Queen of Hearts often sends them on errands, fetching things for her from around D13 and such. Has a crush on the Knave?

TWEEDLES (Gender Optional) [OPEN]

Knows that the Walrus/Carpenter is up to no good and often quarrels with them. Tends to talk to himself, which often leads to arguing with himself. Split personality? Likes to play games and tell stories. Avoids/scared of the Dodo?

WALRUS/CARPENTER // WILL "KACHOO" DENTON
(Male, 28, Patrick Stump FC) [Geebs]

Secretly steals food from the kitchen (their favorite is oysters). Tends to take advantage of other people. Greedy, but feels some remorse over their actions. Pudgy. Often quarrels with Tweedle. Gambles some of their stolen food on the Queen of Hearts' animal fights?

TALKING FLOWERS // CLAUSTRUM MALLOR
(Female, 21, Natalia Tena FC) [Rosetta]

Likes the outdoors. Very imaginative. Is a bit rude and impatient to those who don’t share the same ideas and often complains about that. Dislikes District 13 clothes, finding them too boring, would much rather wear bright colors. Speaks loudly.

JABBERWOCKY (Gender Optional) [OPEN]

Dyslexic. Has a tendency to make up nonsensical words. Over-excitable, particularly when caught up in a conversation, and will jabber on until their gibberish gets so out of control that it sounds as if they're speaking in another language. Bully. Very defensive about his words and starts fights with people who make the mistake of teasing him about it (or even giving him the wrong look about it). Tries to show off his "brute, manly" strength (this can be ironic or literal... your choice XD ) around the ladies, since words aren't his strong suit. Friends with/bodyguard to the Queen of Hearts. Runs the animal fighting rings with her?
