The sky's your limit [Avion standalone]

There is simply a white room, nothing in that white room except for medical equipment, beds and life that is on their last strands. In this white room are beds that so desperately try to support life, medical equipment working hard that can never rest all for patients that simply lay in the limbo between life and death, inert bodies that some would want to throw away but others would not. Because there are still signs of hope in those inert bodies, hope, the only thing stronger than fear. Hope is the one thing that supports these patients who have almost no chance of interacting with the world again. All simply because these patients are in a coma.

And within those -almost- hopeless patients is a boy, a boy who is not even a man yet but has had to endure the hardships that any normal man would be expected to go through and yet he is almost as far from a man you could get. A boy who is no longer than eighteen lays within some of those patients, a pale, malnourished boy who seems to have that one slither of hope in his brain that keeps him alive. Here lies a boy who was once obsessed with the sky but can only express his obsession in his own world.

And his name is Avion Caelum.

Avion Caelum, the boy who bears the name Avion also seems to have bared through some tough times as well. Abuse riddles his body, scars on his hands, bruises on his ribs and chest. There is absolutely zero movement besides the slow but steady rise and fall of his chest, that rise and fall of the chest is the one thing that shows that hope still keeps his tiny heart pumping life throughout his body but one look on the outside and he looks absolutely hopeless. His life has been full of nothing but hopelessness and even in his darkest hour a little bit of hope keeps him breathing.

And in his head there is nothing but hope.

I'm left laying on my back against the cloud, doing nothing but relaxing. It's like my dream, it's like a never ending dream that I can enjoy forever. I'm left looking up at nothing but blue. The clouds feel fluffy, it's as soft as a bed as it simply glides across the sky like some kind of magic carpet. It's weird how similar the cloud is to a bed, the kind of soft bed I'd feel when I was at a rich person's house, except that this time it glides! It actually glides, simply floating wherever the wind decides to take it, I'm going with the wind.

I love it.

There's no limits here, there's no limit, even as I occasionally climb higher and higher with the clouds the sky never ends. I can explore this sky world, I never need to worry about falling because the clouds always save me. I feel like the clouds are my guardians, I feel like they're protecting me on my adventure, they're protecting me on my adventure in the sky. Protect me on my adventure clouds, protect your master.

At that thought the clouds wrapped around him like a blanket, shaping him in a cocoon like blanket, the clouds were literally protecting him, they were guiding him while shielding him from everything, but they were shielding him from nothing. He floated while wrapped in his giant cloud cocoon.

I am unharmable.
