Who wants to play a game?
Games are something we do for fun, and it’s a way we all pass time together. They’re fun yes, but at some point someone usually ends up getting stabbed in the back (I mean figuratively, but I guess literally could be arranged). So friends usually come from a common interest, correct? Or maybe not a common interest, but interlocking personalities. That’s where this group in District 8 stands, hanging to each other because of the personalities that aren’t so much similar, but so far apart that they fall in place.
Of course some are closer than others, and some have a natural dislike of each other. It's no fun if everyone gets along all the time now is it? Pranks are pulled, jokes are told, and all in all, a decent enough time ensues. Kids tend to cling to each other more than the ones they are related to at times, and that is no understatement when it comes to this group. They are, in a way, a family, even if they are slightlycompletelydysfunctional.
OOC: Semper and I are running this, so if you have any questions we are on most of the time, and can be reached on the cbox or by pm. This isn’t first come/first serve, and if there is a bigger interest in this than we planned (lol probably not) more characters can be/will be added. Please, please, please have bios done at a decent rate. No rush by any means, but please have it done in a reasonable amount of time. We would really like these to be new characters. The following descriptions are pretty short, but that’s because we really want most of the character to be completely up to you! The age, name, and fc are all up to you (though we would prefer for them to be 14-18).[size=1][blockquote]Alias/Username:

Clue: [“Duncan Bowers-Fox”//17//bio] played by/reserved for-- Mylee
He is the one to deduce everything to the very core. From the simple tasks of washing dishes to going up a flight of stairs, he will explain it all. He does it not in the mindset of being arrogant, he does it simply because he can. Simply because he is so observant and noticing of such slight details that he cannot contain it within his mind. Even though he does speak his “deductions,” he’s rather quiet, and more enjoys hearing others than speaking himself.
Battleship: [“Tweed”//17//bio] played by/reserved for-- Semper
She has a very military-like structured mind, viewing those “lesser” than her as weaker and a much lower rank. As one can imagine she does not take kindly to the everyday run-of-the-mill routines, choosing instead to occupy herself with formulating strategies that she is more than willing to execute. She tries her hardest to show no emotions and, despite her disagreement about it, she tends to yell, calling people out by their last name. It’s hard to get her to smile, and don’t even try any of that “cutesy flowery crap” on her; she’ll rough anyone up (or try to, at least) and scream in your face until she gets what she wants.
Mouse Trap: [“name”//age//bio] played by/reserved for-- Dreams
If there was a definition for a pocket trickster, this would be her. She’s small, agile, quick, and she’s got a painful sense of humor. Along with using her size to her advantage, she uses the “innocent little girl” card as much as possible. No one is to suspect the little girl smiling to herself now are they? All in all, she just wants to enjoy herself, even at the embarrassment of others. She's got a sly mind and she's quite a great liar. Maybe she could have ADHD? Sort of be active and needs pranks to occupy her time? And she absolutely hates being wrong or having one of her tricks fail.
Sudoku: [“Finity Hampton”//18//bio] played by/reserved for-- Cici
[description coming shortly]
Life: [“Dallas Hughes”//18//bio] played by/reserved for-- Tom
Dallas Hughes was a normal boy born into a normal family. His family retired after a long life of ups and downs. His father changed his jobs so many times when he was little. His parents tried for a 3rd kid, but she died in mommy's tummy. Dallas has a very big belief on "you only have one life" Dallas went and runs his mother's shop now. Dallas is the oldest child, with one little brother. Dallas' mother died when he was 17 for no apparent reason why, except Dallas' brother saw and she was poisoned for money. Dallas watched out for his brother. Dallas' father went a bit insane and is District 8's laughing stalk. Dallas just wants to live normal and grow up and have kids. (Is that good, it's kind of like Life?)
Don't Break the Ice: [“Säffle Ängelholm Troshaldr”//16//bio] played by/reserved for-- Rave
She wasn't always a little block of ice, in fact as a child she was just a tiny cup of cold water. Somewhere between the years after her mother and father's murder, her heart of black seemed to freeze over. Besides Elverum, she doesn't communicate with much of the others around the district, and the few times she does speak the words come out as cold, harsh and blunt, like being hit with a brick of ice. Even around her brother she can come out as abbrasive and hasty, in fact, but it is only dragged out by the cheap realist views she seemed to carve out of thin air.
Guess Who: [“Elverum Måløy Troshaldr”//18//bio] played by/reserved for-- Rave
Unlike his younger sister, Elverum isn't some ice crafted she witch with a craving for insults. At least, he isn't exactly that, as he tends to stick to himself and the few voices that register in his brain from one day to the next. Rarely, memories of voices and faces don't last that long however, since everybody's face seems to shift over to another's once he looks away. Only being able to recognize a handful of random looks from one day to the next would obviously confuse the more intellegent population of district eight, nevertheless Elverum, who certainly was not one of the wisest. Instead of facing the problem, he'd rather hide it out in alleyways or his room filled with polaroids of strangers and sketched in names.
Chess: [“Bobby Fischer”//18//bio] played by/reserved for-- Yoya
Ever since he was little, Bobby analyzed everything he did. He had a plan, from getting dressed, to going on an adventure. He'd think of every possibility that could happen if he did something, and it would affect everything around him. This made him naturally good at escaping from bad situations. He may think a lot, but he also is quick on his feet for situations that call for quick choices. His downfall is never trusting anyone, for he sees everyone eventually betraying him. He has no true friends in this life.
Monopoly: ["Cherokee Airway"//17//bio] played by/reserved for-- Minie
The girl grew up in a family of con artist always trying to take another's family money away. She grew up learning trickery and manipulation. her parents taught her that money is the only key to happyness and that it can buy anything. Due to her parents teaching she doesn't really know anything about love and thinks it is a waste of time, she always has said why love when you could have money and rule. The fact that they live in district 8 makes it hard to be rich, but they are as close as they can get in a family of hers.
Scrabble: ["Vince Cosgrove"//17//bio] played by/reserved for-- Kiah
Vince is a book worm, you never see hi out- and when you do he is as awkward as a curved pole. He likes to hide himself away in his room, his eyes taking in each string of words on that father thin page. He doesn't read stories, he didn't believe in them- nothing could ever have a happy ending, instead he busy's himself with reading dictionary and encyclopedias, even poetry. He often speaks in poetry, his mind lost in the art.
Snakes & Ladders: ["Lydia Babineaux"//14//bio] played by/reserved for-- Shrimp
Life's a game of chance for Lydia Babineaux, so why bother planning? Especially in board games, the girl has no gameplan, simply playing to have fun - don't let her gamble, she'd probably bet it all on roulette and lose it all or maybe win it big. She's overdramatic and melodramatic and oh so sensitive, imagining that she's a damsel in distress or the heroine who's set off to save the world; she creates personas for her playing pieces, and often for her it's much more fun cracking jokes and imagining then actually figuring out how to win (note: do not form an alliance with her, unless if you're willing to put put with impulsive decisions, fickleness and her signature laugh, high pitched and slightly obnoxious)
Tic-Tac-Toe: [“Teresa Thompson”//14//bio] played by/reserved for-- Axel
Teresa isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, nor is she too concerned with what people think of her, it's all like a game to her, and she likes to make the game plans with all her X's and O's. She'll fill sheet after sheet with senseless markings and lines that she believes to be some sort sequence of messages that mean something, when in fact it's nothing more than senseless scribbles. Or is it that, maybe she is paying attention and those do mean something, perhaps this girl deemed too childish can pay attention after all. Her overly friendly and yet competitive attitude could all be a ruse for a greater purpose, for now though, she sort of the dumb friend of the group.(Descriptions will be added to as I have more time ^^)
