I sit on the beach, the crisp, cool, salty air of the ocean blowing ever so gently. It ruffles my hair and makes my clothes dance all over my body. This is the best feeling in the world. I look at the horizon and see the gorgeous colors of the rising sun. The purples and the reds make me shiver with delight. Maybe that's the wind. The waves of the morning sea are delicate and light, lapping against the shore like they're tapping someone's shoulder, as if not to disturb it, but catch its attention. Attention. That reminds me. I check my watch, it's time for training. I sigh, as if to to say goodbye to the waking waters, and then slowly rise. I brush the sand off of my pants and start off to training.
I love training. It's so much fun. I love just releasing all of my anger on the dummies, slashing and stabbing with my tridents and spears. It's a gruesome but efficient emotional vent. But as a Career, I love it more than most. The parts of training that are quite annoying are the survival portions, like what to do when you need fire or how to set traps. As if. Nobody needs to do that kind of stuff unless they're in the arena for a long time. And if you're in the arena a long time, as my instructor would say, you're not killing enough people. I take his words of advice seriously. I train hard every day. It's especially fun to spar with my friends. We always play dirty on each other do rematches, constantly telling each other that we would've won if...
That reminds me, the worst part of training is when you have to do an activity with someone you hate. You want so badly to kill them, but for some reason it's 'wrong' when you're not in the arena. Oh well. I see the training building up ahead. I start jogging. I have to get there fast. It'll be fun! I speed up. I can't wait! The training building is just up ahead! I remember that today is wrestling day. I love wrestling! It's the best! Especially in water! It's easier in water though, because if you can just hold the person under longer than thirty seconds, you've usually won. On the land it is also fun. We wrestle until we drop.
Speaking of drop, as I'm running, I'm only yards away from the Training Building when BAM! I'm on the ground! Someone ran into me! And when I look, I can't be more displeased to see who it is.
