I watched the dirt road as I slowly step out into the light of the setting sun. It was a bit chilly outside and I wrapped my coat around me tighter. A small yawn escaped my mouth as I walked. Today had been a long day and I needed to get back to my sister Abeni. I was basically a parent for our real parent doesn't pay attention to us. I was never her older brother, I was her caretaker and she was my Guardian angel. She kept me going in life.
She was my baby sister.

I let out a small laugh when the sound of foot steps filled my ears and my senses kicked it in. I turned around my ax ready to hit it's target.

"who's there?" I yelled my, deep voice echoing from the trees.

I was walking home from school in the show. I hated school, it was pretty much a waste of my time. All we do is sit and listen to the teachers talk about stuff were never gonna use. Especially if the capitol always makes us locked up in this hell hole. I see this guy in front of us. I wasnt sure how old he was but he actually looked kinda cute. He was walking the same direction I was walking in. I stepped on something and he heard me. "Hey calm down!" I say with a little fear in my voice. I wasnt really sure what to do at all.

The figure of a girl caught my eye as I lowered my ax, but did not put it away. I smiled at her as my voice because soft and gentle, "Ms, you mustn't sneak up on people at night. You could get yourself killed" I gave a soft chuckle.

The girl looked like she came from the school. I already graduated from the hell hole and now I was stuck workin in the mill, handing all the damn profits to the capital. The capital was sick, throwing young family memebers into a game of death. It was like dog fights I use to see in the allies of this city.

"ma'am you shouldn't be walking all alone in the dark, atleast not this part of town. With the damn perverts that live in this area" I always had issues with my little sister Abeni walking alone but she always insisted that she was fine.

I put away my ax and pulled my coat tighter around me. It was quite chilly these days. It was going to be a long rough winter.
