CAP: Shadows [Allyssa Vs. Tyren]

"Tyren Orca."

His name is called, at last. He had just had to endure seeing his Brother fight in this same arena, the blood still lingering on the floor. He thinks to himself about the brutality of what he is doing here. Nature would tell him it is survival. Nurture would tell him that he has to do it for his family. They aren't poor, he just has to. He finds himself opposite her. He regrets to say she is decently good looking as well. As the fight begins he doesn't take the first punch, instead he makes a feign attempt at blocking - to his surprise, she is deadly. A blow to his nose makes his next attack reckless. But he makes an attempt to rise to her challenge.

Calculating and ruthless would be Tyren's two words to describe himself. Unfortunately for the girl he was about to utilize both of these traits in their fight. Calculating, he takes a step back after he was pushed aback by her - ruthless, he continues his assault, plunging in for another strike. He pushes his weight at her trying to knock her down.

Again with this punching his nose thing. The girl has skill, Tyren would give her that, but the same move twice just makes him feel a bit foolish. He ripostes though, and comes back for another attack. He wonders how his Brother is - maybe that is why he's losing the fight, because his Brother had just been in his own fight and got beat.

"Fight isn't over until the last punch is swung..." He thinks to himself, saying nothing to repel the girl verbally.

That punch seemed to boost his spirits. He hadn't hit somebody that hard before and it gave him a rush of adrenaline that he needed to apply the next move. He gets attacked on his shin, which is probably the place on his body that he least cares about, but it hurts like hell if hit right. Recovering, he retaliates with a punch of his own.

She missed, which opens up an opportunity for Tyren. He takes it, but his hands are hurting. His nose aches as bad as her head but nothing was stopping him now. Cowardice doesn't like being in a body with adrenaline because he is messy, and brave. Tyren uses adrenaline, and continues to do so - plunging in for another attack.

His face roughens, frustrated that the fight is extending to its outer lengths. He hasn't been holding back at all and still the girl is proving to be a capable opponent. He grows dark looking and sets himself on winning; nothing more and nothing less. If he and Alex were to lose, they would only have the 'odds' to hope for to be in the games.

His fists tighten as he presses in for another attack. He has kept quiet the whole time, not saying a word to his opponent. He knows that saying, listening or even suggesting anything to his opponent is giving away easy points against him, though little. He remains quiet. His Brother wasn't in the arena anymore, that much he knew. His parents didn't come and watch as there was no point seeing your own child get beaten up. A couple of his friends were around - maybe even some enemies. Mark Anthony won against his Brother and will no doubt cherish the moment for later use.

Sometimes during the fight, Tyren even suggests to himself that he would be better off not winning the duel. Mark would just hold a stressful vendetta, and the weapons would be fatally implicating.

But still - he continues. Loyal to his reasons for this fight.

Crying was the last thing on Tyren's mind. If anything, this fight was fueling his entertainment. Fighting is fun when you can glorify yourself afterwards. Telling your friends of how badly you hurt that other guy. Though, this fight is different. Beating up a girl isn't as frowned upon by careers, but it isn't something Tyren would callously do. Though this is an exception. He doesn't expect her to actually die.
