The day was a cold one. It was probably about -2˚C, with wind that made it feel colder than the actual temperature. I put on my heavy winter jacket and my sweatpants and walk outside. I love the smell of the cold. It smells like the fires of the rich peoples houses when I walk by. Just because of that, I decided to walk through that neighborhood today.

I walk through the houses, smelling the food cooking, the fires burning, and enjoying the decorations they put our for Christmas day. I should get Lily something... but I don't know where she lives. Well, I might run into her today. I'm getting her something. I enter the market, and look around. There is so many places to choose from, but I have so little money. I go to the antique shop, and buy a pretty ornament that wasn't to expensive. I think she'll like this.

I carefully put it into my pocket, and continue my little walk. I change my path to the little park nearby. It isn't the cleanest or prettiest place, but I liked it. It was full of little ponds. This time of year, they are generally frozen solid, and people go skating on them. I sit down on a bench that was close to one of them, and pulled out the little present. It wasn't much, but it was beautiful in it's own plain and simple way. It was a gorgeous red with fake gold dust around it. I wonder how long this took to make? I was so into the ornament that I didn't realize the flurry of snow or anyone coming up from behind me.

Lilly Ion age 15 district 5. it's been a bit since that day. I was on my last leg I still am close to my last leg,but he saves me. He was there for me. He is the knight in armor. I know he is a bit silly and heck he is a bit stupid, but he was smart enough to rescue me right? Or was he stupid enough to save the wrong person? I rubbed the back of my head a bit disoriented about the whole experience. I exit the house with out question from my parents,since the head injury they ignore me. I don't speak back I was not going to talk to them first. When I step out my face turns red. I ignore the swelling and the pain from it. I know we discussed that we would meet soon I wanted to find him, I come across the bench where he is sitting. I look at my blotchy hands quick he won't mind right ? He got his hands bloody that day I wing it. I come up to his bench and cover his eyes with my hands. I pulled my hands off and said "surprise mr" it was a bit out of breath towards the end but I must have surprised him. I hoped on his lap side ways where my feet were on the bench and my arms wrapped round his neck.

The next thing I know I had a pair of hands over my eyes and blocking my view. I started to get nervous, but I recognized the voice that belonged to them. "Surprise Mister!" "Lily!" I say. She hopes onto my lap sideways and wrapped her hands around my neck. "You seem loads better than before." She did look better than when we last met. She doesn't have any blood coming out of her, and she seems really happy.

"How have you been?" She also seemed happier than before I guess that's how much I affected her. She must have needed it. "You look a million times better than when we first met. How's the cut on the back of your head? It seems healed." I felt like I said to much, but that's how we're here right now. I talked her out of it.

I smile at his surprise and his excitement. He asks me how have I been. I roll my eyes. He really is a caring guy, but I hate relating back to my night. Then he goes off saying that my head looks healed up. This makes me dizzy thinking about it. I ignore both comments with out much thought. I look at his face. I grin." Lets do something exciting today." I pull back a piece of hair that got in my face when I hoped on his lap, and then I searched the area for something in the area. My breath comes in and out as I look. I have to focus my eyes are something for a bit longer than if I was inside due to the dizziness that comes with this air, but I find it. " Lets go swimming." A mischievous grin comes on my face as snow sprinkles down.

She seemed better. She seemed happier. I liked that. Her eyes brightened up and the next thing I see Lily do is smile. Not a normal thank-you-for-saying-that smile, but a I-got-a-mad-idea-coming-up. And the next sentence she said proved my point. " Lets do something exciting today." I put on a confused expression. I was kinda hoping we wouldn't do anything like that. Lets go swimming." I think the cut did something to her common sense.

"But the water's well below freezing. I don't think that anyone can survive. Our bodies might not even be found until a while since they'll probably sink to the bottom and have the lake freeze over. Also, we could die." The more I talked, the more I realized that actually sounded fun. We might not make it out alive, but it would be fun. "Forget about what I just said. I'm in."

I shake my head back and forth keeping on my smile, as kyle debates with himself. I caught the look of worry like my head was not on straight, but he snapped out of it. " Yay." I clap my hands a few times then put my arm around him and quickly kissed him on the cheek. Out of breath a bit. I jump off his lap. By now my face must look like a tomato, but I was so excited to do something fun. I did not think about the kiss at all, as I started to tug kyle to follow me to a pond.

Her reaction was really quick. "Yay!" she said as the stood up. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and started tugging me over to the ponds. When I stood up, I felt like a giant. I'm at least a foot taller than she is, give or take a few inches. I follow her to the ponds, trying to find the right one for us.]

I stop for a moment, and look around. "There's one there, a couple more over there, and that one waaay over there..." I mumble while pointing all over. I said that out loud? Whoops. I don't think anyone hear. I continue to look for the perfect pond to swim in.

"How 'bout that one over there? It seems big enough, and I don't see anyone over there at the moment. It's probably also deep enough, and there isn't that much ice, so it must not be that cold. It seems like a good place to go. If it's okay with you."I stare at the pond, and start walking towards it, seeing if Lily is going to follow.

I continued to walk as he kept pointing out ponds. Then he pointed at one and said it was deep enough. I nodded. I started to get a bit apprehensive of this idea. I can hardly breathe in regular air, led alone water, led alone cold water. I let him past me, as I stand there. I scratched the swelling of my red cheeks. I started to debate the idea I came up with. No I have to he was doing it for me. I took off my jacket, and was now in a short sleeve shirt and pants. It was freezing. I shivered. Mind as well jump in how much colder could it be. Running ahead as my breath quickly ran out I ran on to the ice, and jumped on it till it broke a part a bit. I made a nice circle for my self, and I hoped in as the final piece of ice I was balancing on started to brake. I dunked right in the water. It was like an electric shock. I was a foot under water, before I regained myself from shock, and was able to propel myself up. when I came out I was breathing a lot heavier than normal. Coughing I tried to talk. " R a ..... ndy COMe Iiiiiiiiin the. cough water is fine!" I painfully smiled. It was actually fun, not fine though, but fun doing something different for once.

She seems to like my idea. She takes off her jacket, revealing her t-shirt underneath. She starts shivering soon after. She ran out onto the pond and started jumping. Could we die of coldness? Who cares, really, as long as I'm with lily. She starts jumping on the ice, until it starts to break, then jumps right in when the whole opens up. She pops in and pops right back up.

" R a ..... ndy COMe Iiiiiiiiin the. cough water is fine!" She smiles painfully. Is it worth it? I think so. I take off my jacket and I prepare to hop in. I back up a little, and take a running start in.

As soon as I hit the water, it feels like my body can't move. "Holy freaking asdkfl;jfl this is cold. At least it woke me up." I try swimming around a bit, trying to warm myself up, but failing. I eventually just curl myself into a ball and float on the top of the water. "This is really fun" I say through chattering teeth and the best smile I could produce. "We should do this more often!"

I watch as randy jumps in. I grin a bit. I continue to breathe in and out. I am used to bad breathing outside but this is almost ridiculous, the cold is making it awfully hard to breathe. I ignore oh well who cares, this is fun to just be here with randy. I watch as he curls up trying to keep himself warm. I grin mischievously. I duck underwater and pop back up behind him. It was exhilarating almost. Just to not exactly do something productive but " normal persay." I laugh as I say quick" Wimp randy." I dunk him quick. I pull back when I notice I need some air myself. I laugh between the chattering of my teeth when he pops up soaked.
