Just as with the 62.5th Games last year, training is different. There are no exemptions. Tributes are limited to two stations each. Hunger, thirst, and first aid are all gone. PM your station choices to me, Thundy.
Side note: Please make sure to include your tribute's name in your PM if it isn't already in your display name.
Training stations offered:
Blades – knives, swords, etc (+1 to damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts for bladed combat, that is, knives and swords)
Target practice – ranged weapons (+1 to damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts for any shot or thrown weapons)
Strength – axe, flail, club/blunt (+1 to damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts for axe, flail, spear, and blunt weapons)
Self-defense – deflecting attacks (-1 from damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts)
Stealth - Allows tributes to sneak in to attack on their intro posts in fights. (This does not include the Bloodbath.)
Improvisational weapons – teaches tribute to make weapons out of hard wood that can be used for 2/3 damage in the arena (ie: a 6pt attack from a makeshift wooden spear would be redeemable for 4pts damage) All makeshift weapons are per staff acceptance. Without this station, hard wood can be used as a ½ damage club weapon (ie: 6pts damage = 3pts damage)
Endurance – Allows tributes to move two areas rather than one, but only once every three days.
Training Quiz -
- In one or two sentences, describe how your tribute would respond in the given situations. You may write your responses however you would like, so long as your answers are numbered and concise, and PM them to me when you're done.
- This time around, the top three training scores - rather than getting $500 in sponsorship -- will receive $500 in site cash. So think through your answers and choose wisely!
Training Questions:
1. Before your tribute is forced to flee from the Bloodbath, they pick up one non-weapon item to help them survive. What item do they pick up, and why?
2. Your tribute happens to be in a very large alliance, and they suspect that their allies are going to try to kill them during the night.
3. Immediately after your tribute jumps off of their plate to face the Bloodbath, a much larger – and armed – tribute offers to become their ally.
4. About fifty yards away, your tribute spots another small, armed tribute who appears to be sobbing and crouching in a pool of blood.
5. Claudius Templesmith has announced an optional Feast the following morning, and your tribute has so far been unscathed and could benefit from the supplies. However, their allies are greatly injured and may not survive if they attempt to go.
