He has pitch black eyes and hair, and he has a light brown skin. Alfalfa is tall standing at a 6 foot 3, and is quite lean. He can run pretty fast a climb quite well. In his free time he loves to show off his climbing abilities to anybody who will see. You could watch him scamper up the tree like a monkey. Nimbly climbing up branch by branch, handhold to handhold. He is not very strong so after he is done with school his work is not the usually work in the fields. After school Alfalfa proceeds to his mother's bakery. It is one of the only bakeries in the district, but not many people go to it because they don't have enough money. Alfalfa's family usually goes with little to eat. You may also sometimes see him out in the fields because he loves watching his father in the fields, and normally asks him, "Father why do you have to work so hard?" For 17 years his father had been answering, "I don't know."

He thinks he needs all the warmth he can get in this dark and dreary District. He hates a lot of stuff because he thinks they hate him. He is mostly right because he can tell that kind of stuff from how people treat him and how they look at him. He hates the Capitol, he hates the peacekeeper's in his District, and he hates the fields of grain which flow in the wind. He is also scared of most stuff though he hates showing it. He's scared of the snakes which hide in the wheat, the peacekeepers, and his family starving. He is not very strong mentally or physically, but he keeps going and working in the bakery to help his family survive. He can't make friends that easily because they find him weird for some reason. He does not know why, but it is because they think he thinks way too much. That is not very good because he can think of what will happen if he does what. That may make him hesitate to do something good because it may result in something bad. Alfalfa is quite fast and agile but is really weak in strength. He is friendly, but can't make friends easily for the reason I already said. They think he's weird, and that he thinks to much. Alfalfa also has a way of staring right through people and somehow can tell their personalities easily as they talk. Many people find that annoying, or even disconcerting.

He was always the soul of laughter in his house. He always and a smile on his face and was always, just always bouncing about. When he was 7 his mother and father had a baby. A little girl. He was even happier. The house was filled with happiness which did not last long. Disaster struck when his new littler sister, just the age of 1, died of an unknown illness. Grief struck his house. Alfalfa was not the cheery, happy kid he once was. He is still friendly but not happy. Until then his father and mother would block the doors when the hunger games on. Block his eyes when someone died. When his sister died they did not anymore. When Alfalfa was 9 his mother had twins, a boy and a girl. Then another set of twins when he was 10! Alfalfa Seeds has had a hard life with many hardships. He has a family of 7 which is him, to younger brothers, two younger sisters, and a loving mother and father. His brothers and sisters are to young to work but his father works hard in the fields every day, and after he gets home Alfalfa goes to his mothers bakery to help there. No matter how hard he, his mother, and his father works they are always poor and hungry.
