Ash Kalford, District 12

I really am more invisible than anything. Like a chameleon I blend in and no one notices much. With my olive skin and my brunette hair, I'm more average than any other person in my district. My hair is brunette. With glints of blonde. My hair is a bit curly but since it's long the volume of the curls are a bit loosened.

I have an aristocratic nose. I also have some freckles which I seriously hate. I'm about 5'8 and have long legs. I have a boyish fashion. I also have a small mole on my right cheek. Which is one of the things that I think make me look beautiful.

I'm a really stubborn person which is a cause of my mother being so protective of me when I was a child. I'm an artist. I like to put myself in danger to get what I want. I also sometimes tend to have a weak mind. I tend to have a lot of things actually. It's part of who I am, having imperfections. We're humans.

Overall I am really intelligent, but when emotions get in my way I tend to lose my ways. I'm not socially adept and usually I have a hard time making friends. I see myself as a clever person. Sometimes, I use what I want to step on other people which certainly I don't like about myself.

I'm mostly all about intensity and contradictions. I am seriously against the Capitol. I also present an unemotional air to the world yet lying underneath. I am also very outspoken and I express myself in quiet and respectful ways. My granny says I'm like my mom in those ways.

I was born in a very nice family. The Kalford family to be exact. We're a really big family. About 15 years ago the Capitol PeaceKeepers were sent to our District on a viewing of our behaviour. They found my mom doing illegal marketing and the executed her. Just like that. Coldheartedly.

This is one of the many reasons of my hatred towards the Capitol. One day I would like to participate in the Hunger Games to avenge my mothers death. My father, James Kalford was also killed but, in a fire last year. Or that's all I know. That's all my granny has told me. I also have a stepsister her name is Becca Kalford and she is a 5 year old.

I live with my grandmother and my stepsister. My father had a wife but, she ran away a couple of months ago. I work in the black market and this is the only thing that can bring money to my family. So, in other words I work to keep my family alive. Something that I also hate about the Capitol, they keep all their money to themselves.
