Appearance:

Jareth stands at five foot eleven and weighs about one hundred and fifty five. He is a skinny guy but , he has some athletic build to him. He has dark raven colored hair that stops at his neck in the back. In the front his dark bangs shag a bit into his bright blue eyes. Jareth has a dark look to him but , he does have a handsome smile. Being from District 1 he can afford to wear nice things. Both his parents work in the district bussines so, his family is very rich. Jareth is really isnt a bright color type of guy but , he accepts that if he became a tribute he would have to wear it. Jareth is considered to have very handsome a delicate features.  Most of his family is this way in the way thier features fall. Like both his parents his nose is too big or too small. Like his mother he has almond shaped eyes and thing eyebrows. Unlike his brother and father he has a small set of of lips. This has gotten him some friendly looks from girls in his district. For the most part he keeps his appearance neat and tidy. But , there is dash of untidy so, he doesn't look like a neat freak.



Jareth considers him self to be a strong and fast runner. When he was younger he hung out alot with his older brother. His older was training to be a career so, he taught Jareth things when he could. When Jareth came of age for the games he trained a little more by himself. When his mother had trouble lifting heavy things around the house he is usually able to help her. Being from one of the rich district his mother is able to afford make up and stuff like that. From time to time Jareth borrows some of his mother's eyeliner. He likes how it goes with his dark clothing choices and how it brings out his eyes. On his shoulder he has a scar his brother gave him during training when they were younger.

Personality:

Jareth is pretty much a friendly guy but , he does have a dark side. Jareth likes to see people in different situations for his amusement. He will not openly admit this to people but , he does like people watching. Jareth isn't beyond toying with people to get what he wants either. He can pretend to be certain things to play into this too. For example , he can pretend to be evil and kind of sadistic to scare someone.  Jareth has Obsessive compulsive disorder to some extent. From time to time there are some rituals he has to do before doing certain things. Despite , having the disorder he is not one of those people who have it control their life. It's not really noticeable on him unless you follow him around the whole day and stare at him. Jareth doesn't like to lose and he figures he would be a hard fighter in the games. He doesn't really like that they put kids into the games but , if it was to win he would kill them. He would probably feel a little bad afterward but , he would be glad to be alive.



If he ever entered games he probably wouldn't trust the other players too much. He might join an alliance as a precaution but , later he would kill them when needed. To be honest he doesn't know why alliance are formed when most will die. But , he supposes whatever i have to do to live i will do it. He sees it as a way of using his manipulative nature to his advantage. Jareth is very loyal to his family and whatever friends that he has. He is not beyond getting back at someone with a prank either. In the games he would not be to focused on getting too attached to anyone for obvious reasons. So, the other tributes would be acquaintances or enemies to him. He is not sure how he would feel if one of his female friends was chosen as a tribute with him.

He knows he would have to kill her but , it would be harder to. He would not want her to die but , he would rather someone else do it and not him. It would upset him that she died but , he would not let it hold him back in the games. He would fight the rest of the games for her , and her family , his family , and their district. Since training scores help you get sponsors he would train just like it was the games. Then during the show off phases like the parade and talk show he would do his best to show himself and his charm and sense of humor. Jareth is a quiet guy for the most part but , he can go into rambles to.

History:

Jareth's parent began working in the district business as soon as they were old enough. In fact his parents met one day on the job and became very close. After his parents got married they had his older brother Kane first. Jareth was born a few years after his brother Kane was. By the time he was eight his parents had become very rich. Due to their wealth his mom brought allot of luxuries. His mother liked to look pretty even if she went to work. When his father was not at work he often trainined Jareth and Kane in stuff they would need for the hunger games. He wanted his kids to be prepared if they were chosen. Although they were kids their father still taught them fatal spots on a person's body.



When he was ten his brother began to train more often and became a career. Jareth often watched him train and his brother taught him a few things. In school he did very well and as a child he was pretty much told he should be a career. He was not so, sure about at that age and hoped his brother would not get picked. When he turned twelve he was told he would train more to be a career too. He told his father alright and trained but , he did not want to get picked at twelve years old. At his first reaping his brother wanted to volunteer so, badly. Young Jareth thought that he was nuts and told him to wait longer. He doubted that his brother would listen but , he tried anyway. But , to his surprise someone volunteered before his brother could.



In the present he is now sixteen and he has never been picked. To his father's disappointment his brother Kane has not been picked either. But , now it's too late for his brother to be picked. So, Jareth's father often pressure him to train whenever he can. His mother just had a little girl so, his father has hopes for her too. To increase his chances of getting picked his mother sometimes makes him buy tesseras for extra stuff around the house. Jareth thinks it's cheating but , he does what his mother says. His mother has a fiery temper so, she is not one you want to say no to. Even his father has learned that from being married to her all these years.
