Familiar faces of Enemies////Tom////

The pain has ceased from the blows that stupid bitch did to me. That little girl said she was going to kill me, but she didn't kill me. Ha, I knew she wouldn't keep to her words. She was all talk, and she's lucky I didn't try to fight back because I would have broke her neck. I would have killed her in that instant, but what could I do to a little girl that was so determined to kill? Not a thing. I just wanted to let her try because it makes life so much easier. Now when I see her again, I can laugh in her face because she failed to kill me like she said she was going to. I'll laugh in her face as soon I see her. I'm better than she is. Who cares if she's a girl? She hits me again, I'm gonna break her face. I'll smash her nose right into her skull. I'll make sure the end of the nose bone pops through her skull leaving her dead on the spot. That'll teach that little bitch to fight me because I promise, I won't hold back anymore. She's just like her damn brothers that died in the games. Both were fools, and she's the biggest fool of them all.

My feet crunch through the snow as I step outside my house for the first time since my face was destroyed. My eyes are no longer swollen shut. Hell, I was unconscious for a while. Mom told me she found me laying in the snow with a face beyond recognition surrounded by the blood that seeped through the wounds. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I didn't need my mom to help me because she's never helped me before. She could have left me on the ground to die like she let my father leave. She let him leave after he promised to be there for us. My father said he wouldn't leave. He promised my mom, and my mom promised she'd keep us all there, but they are liars and I don't need her help anymore. I slam the door shut behind me wanting her to know I'm leaving. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm tired of being confined in the house. I'm tired of not being able to leave because she's afraid I'll do something stupid and end up dead. I don't think she realizes that death would be an escape from this hell we call home.

I wrap the jacket around my body tight as I fight to keep the snow from hitting my body. It's been a tough winter this year, but I've survived the other winters, and I know I'll make it through this one too. I pull my hood tight around my face to try to shield it from the frigid cold wind. Today, I'm going to go terrorize the citizens around the district square. Maybe I can throw ice balls at them nailing them and knocking them unconscious. Maybe I can fire them the right way and kill someone. Maybe that stupid little bitch is roaming around freely. I'd love to meet her again. I'd love to bash in that tiny little skull of hers. It would make my day a hell of a lot better. I lower my gaze towards the ground as my feet glide over the white fluffy snow as I approach the square. Most of the shops are closed, and there's hardly anyone out. It's stupid to be out in the middle of winter knowing it's possible to freeze to death. I'm outside though, but I'm not stupid. I'm just looking around to see if I can spot anyone who's life I can make a living hell.

I walk silently scooping up balls of snow in my hands forcing them together into a solid ball. I place them to the side as I continue to make more. I can't wait to see the first person that comes walking around here. I'll nail them with a snowball. I'll make them look at me because it'll be a fun price to pay. I'll laugh, and it'll cause the fire to burn through them hopefully. I take a deep breath as I continue to form the snow into the balls. The tips of my fingers burn as they turn red from the snow. It's painful to even bend my fingers now, but I don't want to give up. I need a pile to start a war, and I won't be a disgrace. I won't be shown up again. After I have a pile of snow balls, I grab one and I start pack more snow onto it making it heavier and opaque. I raise my hand behind my head as I launch the first ball of snow into the sky aiming at nothing in particular. A loud roar of laughter escapes my lips as I place another snowball into my hand trying to ignore the pain that's surging through my currently mending cheek.
