Hey, everyone.
The recent death of my friend has made me realize now more than ever that I need to stop taking the world for granted. So I've kind of decided to quit the internet, basically. I spend too much time on it when I should be spending time with my family. It's kind of a late New Year's resolution, I guess? But from now on, I want to focus my time on improving myself and the world around me instead of role playing all the time. When I'm old and my grandchildren ask me what my life was like as a teenager, I don't wanna say "Oh, I spent it all in my room."
This website has helped me to grow and learn more than any class I could ask for. I've met so many amazingly talented people and made fantastic friends. I've laughed here and cried here with both real people and made-up characters alike. Thanks to everyone, whether I've spoken to you or not, for making this website such a special place.
I'm sorry to everyone with a Holbrook character for abandoning Emery. I give full rights to whoever wants to remake him, if you guys wanna keep the plot going and can find someone else to keep him. Or, you can kill him off. Also, sorry to Tom for leaving Tempus so soon. But sometimes you just have to do things, and I have to do this before I change my mind.
I'm not very good at expressing my gratitude in words that match my actual thoughts, but I wanted to say something because a lot of you have a special reserved cushy window seat in my heart. First of all, thank you to anyone I've ever roleplayed with for helping me to grow as a writer. When I came to this site, I sucked, and I'm leaving it with confidence in my writing ability. I'd like to thank Zori, Sampson, Cici, and zak for making District 11 my favorite place to chill. I love you guys, and I'm really going to miss the Izars and Cortos and Holbrooks and Rum-Tum and Freya. Thanks to Kay for always helping me with stuff and for welcoming me to the website. I'm sorry you went through all that activity check stuff for me a few days ago; I wouldn't have made you do that if I'd had this thought previously. I'd like to thank Kiah, Axel, Dreamer, and Tom for being awesome and for always chatting with me in the cBox. Thanks to Elegant for being the coolest person in Canada. I don't even know what to say to you except that I'm so thankful to have gotten to talk to you as much as I did because I have a girl crush on you, haha, and you've got such good ideas all the time. Thank you Saph for saying nice things all the time and for sending me a skype message when Emmett died. Arx, you're one of my favorite people, and everything you write give me mad feels, bro. Any time I needed muse, I'd read your stuff. Thank you to Thundy for being so nice to me and all. I think you're really swell. And Nofo, thanks for that awesome secret santa gift last year, because it was really the first positive feedback I'd received on my writing. You also introduced me to some music that I never heard before, and loved. Thanks to Onyx for always making me smile and for teaching me how to do tables even though you're a fancy English queen and I'm a stuttering American peasant who knows nothing of the ways of art, lol. Thanks to Pika for being sweet to me and writing nice little encouraging notes when you accepted my bios and for having a hot sausage cousin in Georgia. And I know I'm probably forgetting someone (sorry! ) and I can't really explain how much I love and adore all of you so I hope you guys just know. Thanks for everything.
If anyone wants to keep in touch, my Skype (cheezbelly98) is always open and I'd love to talk.
Adieu,
<3 Raseri.
