Power is {Everything} D7 [open]

Within the heart of District 7, there is a family whose only tie is the power that lies within. Consistently fighting and clawing over each other to be the most powerful, there is hardly a day that goes by without a fight. Some are able to get along, while others can hardly be in the same room with one another. Not one is particularly better than the other (though they might not believe this). In the toughest times, however, they are more than willing to understand that family comes first, and nothing more than hell itself can separate them from the one thing they share in common, each other.

OOC: This plot is loosely based on the show Revolution. Names are subject to change, the only common being the last name Matheson. This is not a first come/first serve, and applications will be accepted at Nyte and I’s discretion.

Sebastian Monroe {“Ian Matheson”//18//bio} played by Mylee
With codependency on nothing more than his brother and the alcohol that is so rarely found, Bass wants nothing more than someone to depend on. A friend, even. Dealing with the paranoias that come with being turned on time and time again, he has trust issues (to say the least). With no care for almost any of his siblings, he hides behind the shadow of Miles, only to feel raw and vulnerable when Miles steps out. When exposed from the comfort of the shadows, he is quick to defend himself, with words or actions, whichever is necessary.

Miles Matheson {“Russell Matheson”//18//bio} played by Tom
Changeable ideas and morals have always been Miles’s biggest problem. With his tendency to lean towards independence and snark when questioned, he is looked upon by friends and enemies alike as someone to not waste their time on. However, he is the glue holding the family together, and is probably the only reason they haven’t all killed each other yet. Quick to nip an argument in the bud, about everyone’s heads turn when they hear his voice rise. He is intimidating to say the least, but deep within, like many people, he has a heart that can be tapped by the ones he loves.

Rachel Matheson {“name”//17//bio} played by Semper
As she would like to believe it, she is the most motherly of the group. However, her way of showing love is by protecting everyone behind lies. Or rather, not telling them the entire truth. When confronted about the web of lies she has weaved, her only reply is that she was only “sheltering” the others, and only didn’t want them to be hurt. She is quiet in fights, tending to speak little and letting the others yell themselves out before speaking her mind. She finds herself challenged by Maggie, only feeling like her place has been taken by someone who does not belong.

Charlie Matheson {“name”//15//bio}
Only compared to that of a firecracker, Charlie is nothing but sarcasm. Refusing to "go with the flow" she is almost always in some sort of trouble. Despite this reckless nature she cares deeply for Danny and will not let any harm befall him. With Rachel and Maggie both trying to assume a motherly role, Charlie can do nothing but let the resentment for them both build and build inside her. She finds close companionship with Nora, who favors her ideas for danger and adventure. Trying to be more like Miles, she as well tries to hide her heart behind stone, only to be read through by the entire family.

Danny Matheson {"name”//14//bio}
The youngest of the family, Danny is doing nothing but trying to convince others he is not the small, weak kid that everyone has pegged him to be. A chronic asthmatic, Danny has leaned heavily on Charlie for the majority his life, joining her on the many adventures she takes it upon herself to have. Although some of the missions have been nothing but life-threatening for him, they’ve always made it back in time to put down the attacks. He looks up to both Bass and Miles, hoping to one day be just a little more like them.

Maggie {“name”//17//bio} played by Nyte
The most kind-hearted of the group, Maggie is quick to listen and give advice to any who need it. She has a kind and sweet nature about her, which isn’t often seen in the group. As she often tries to give her advice to those who don’t ask her for it, she is often turned away or snapped at, and plainly she doesn’t understand why. She’s just trying to help. Why people don’t want to take her advice is beyond her. She definitely has obtained the most information about medicines, plants, and things of the sort, so it’s her unspoken job to clean up all the cuts and bruises acquired from everyone on a day to day basis.

Nora Clayton {“name”//16//bio}
Intrigued by weapons and things of the sort, Nora is nothing less than explosive. With a hot temper and the tendency to punch first, ask questions later, she has quickly established herself as one of the leaders. With an extensive knowledge and no way to get her hands on the things she wants, she has become quite the expert on handmade weapons. Noted, they don’t always work or turn out exactly how she plans, but there is always something happening with them. You can ask any of the other kids, for they have at least story about being burned or bruised from her outtakes.

Jason Neville {“Jason Matheson”//15//bio} played by Kousei
The follower of the group, Jason is content to listen to the direction of whoever will give it to him. With his willingness to follow anyone anywhere, he is widely liked by about everyone, staying on the mutual side of most things. He is more than behind on most jokes and references that are cracked, only to figure out the meaning several hours later. For this reason he is often taken advantage of (without his realizing of course). He isn’t extremely close to any of his siblings, and more often than not feels like the odd one out of the group (he’s definitely got a soft spot for Charlie, though).
