There was much to be done, the same as it was every day. Garo Fonteyne sat in his chair again, looking as disinterested as ever while studied his face in the mirror. The painted look was good enough but his hair was a mess. It was soft and smooth and fell in near perfect waves but to Garo, it was unkempted and the mere thought of it frustrated him to no end.
He pulled out his brand new curling wand, running it through, trying to make something work. It did what the product's reviews said it would but new things were always scrutinized. He watched it, turning it around in his hands after running it through his hair. Long slender fingers spun it around. It was a lot more compact than the previous model. That was something Garo could say he liked about it. It might not seem like much but his approval was rarely given out.
Garo took a deep breath in and then out, trying to keep that calm demeanor going just a little longer. He had by now decided that it was indeed good enough and continued to work on his hair. He enjoyed taking the time out of his day to do this. It was easy enough to have a stylist do it but Garo liked letting creativity take over. It gave him something to do. Perhaps in the next life he might be a stylist but for now, he was lucky enough to have whatever he could want.
Once he was done, Garo spun around, just feeling the way the material moved. It was light and would no doubt move with the cool breeze he expected this afternoon. It would certainly look amazing if that happened but then Garo Fonteyne could not control the weather.. Could he?
Leaving his home, he made his way out, joining the crowds that were looking forward to the next games. So much was going on and despite his averted gaze and the fact that he didn't seem terribly interested in the large screens and the sights and sounds, Garo actually enjoyed it out here.
