The Staite family is just another family from District 4. Their origins come from a great victor of 4 around 5 decades back and since there have been high expectations for this wealthy family. Good men and women populate this family of all professions; from housewife to peacekeeper to Career trainers. The Staite's are a proud family however, darkness lies around every corner and not everyone is always as they seem. Behind closed doors, things occur that the public would certainly frown upon if they knew the secrets that the Staite's held. Since Clymene was shipped off to become an Avox, tensions run high among family members as they look to the younger generation and fear the shame one might

accidently bring.

The Family

Daria Staite::16::Played by Ali::Valorie Curry
Daria Staite is one of the younger members of this family. She was born deaf so is looked down upon by many of the elder members of the family because they see her as a disgrace to their family because she will never attribute anything to their legacy. Born on the day of the Reaping, Daria is said to be cursed to be reaped into the games one day by older members of the family; but this is just a plea to get rid of her. She is daughter to Klas and Clymene Staite.

Jules Staite::17::Played by ?::FC

Jules is one of the older in the 3rd Generation of Staites and is one of many to become a member of the Careers. His parents (Oz and Miria Staite) pay $1000 to ensure he has the best training he can so that he can bring the family honor in the games by winning. He is the second eldest of 3 siblings- Silvia and Yoel .

Yoel Staite::15::Played by ?::FC

Yoel is still a child to his brothers and to himself really- he loves adventure and playing in the sand and has no interest in becoming a Career when he grows older. A bit of a mummy's boy, Yoel is known to throw a temper tantrum when he doesn't get his own way; even though he is 15 years old. He is youngest of 3 siblings- Silvia and Jules.

Silvia Staite::18::Played by Puppy::FC

Silvia is the eldest child to Oz and Miria Staite- so therefore is their most prized posession. Pressured into looking her best, Silvia suffers anxiety and eating problems; which goes somewhat unnoticed by her parents. Being eldest means that her parents are looking for a sutible groom for Saskia and dislike her talking with boys when not accompanied by an adult. Unlucky for her parents, Saskia doesn't exactly like guys.


Veda Staite::17::Played by BRIAR:: Lilah Parsons::Bio

Veda is one of the Staie children who is not favourable to any other members (except maybe Daria). Veda is an illegitimate child and so is not often classed as a Staite: she isn't even acknowlaged as a member of the family when in public. She is ignored by her mother, aunts, uncles and some of her cousins because of her illegitimacy and so often feels alone. She, however, is an expert fish hook makers and may still prove worthy of the Staite's after all.

Ele Staite::12::Played by Anzie::FC

Is the youngest of the generation however is not technically a Staite because he was the son of Clymene's brother. When his mother died in childbirth and his father lost at sea- the Staite's thought it would be good manners and look good on their public record that they adopt him for their own. Being the youngest, Ele finds it hard to play with his cousins and so often spends his days sitting on the beach playing with the shells.
