 The Peacekeeper Academy **************************** Duty. Loyalty. Servitude. That is what we seek from you all. The Capitol has sent the official order; we are to recruit young, new peacekeepers into the ranks of our guardians. Do you have what it takes to become Panem's finest? Through rigorous training, exercises and drills, you shall be trained for the position.  Plot Details This plot is open to all characters in District Two that are aged 16 and above. The plot will involve the training process of becoming a Peacekeeper, and will also provide many opportunities to bond with other characters who may or may not be enjoying their training. Training includes set courses which will be listed below. In the application process, you will select three courses (can have multiple of the same type) on which you will be tested throughout your time in the Academy. This plot is intended to be quite long term, with each course being roughly around a week long - with some preparation time before the first. The plot shall start: (TBC - Will update when applicants have applied). Set Courses [1]________________________________________________ Fitness Fitness includes the working of all of your muscles and bones. You will be trained to be at your best, and will achieve top marks for your final sparring match against either a fellow cadet or an instructor. The result of which is assessed on your ability to perform during the fight, not necessarily whether you win or lose the fight - as we expect that all candidates are of similar standard. [2]________________________________________________ Public Arrest Public arrest consists of following a loyal Peacekeeper closely until he / she needs to perform an arrest. Upon this time, you will be the one to apprehend the suspect and carry out the arrest. It is then the cadet's choice whether they interrogate the suspect or not. Albeit optional, doing so will improve your final scoring. This sect is judged on your capability to apprehend suspects and use good judgement well. [3]________________________________________________ House Searches Houses searching is a prominent utility of the Peacekeeper's arsenal. You will be expected to search through warrant (or otherwise) a house of a suspected criminal. This will be a sect that is observed on your capability to keep the situation under control. Candidates are advised that this involves the searching of homes, and therefore candidates may be at a higher risk of being assaulted. [4]________________________________________________ Punishment From interrogating suspects to performing the whippings, floggings and taking of District criminals. Those who evade the Peacekeepers shall be found through this method, and brought to justice. Candidates are to be aware that this is what a true Peacekeeper is capable of. There is no need to have heart whilst performing this course. It is advised to leave emotion at home, for this requires absolute loyalty to the job at hand. [5]________________________________________________ Law Studies Law studies include partaking a class of law of which you will be required to attend and recite knowledge upon completion. (This course is more for those who do not have enough time for that specific week - it is an instant pass unless you specify otherwise) Initial scores are given based on applicant's first application to the course. It is on a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the highest. This method is utilized throughout, as you will receive similar scores for each course. At the end, your scores are totaled and you are given a final grade - Distinct Pass, Close Pass, Fail. Short Description: (Any perspective, 1st / 3rd etc.) Joe is a very loyal and dedicated member of the Human race. He is perfect in every way. His body is like Spartacus and his eyes are as blue as the sea. His hair flows to his thighs and his mother and father are still alive. He is a real ladies man but will leave all his gals behind just for the Peacekeepers, he's that dedicated. His previous experience with Peacekeepers include; Being arrested for being that good, but nothing otherwise relevant. Calender (So you know when you're missing out!) Week 1, [Started 15/02/2014] Preparation No threads are required during this period, though people are encouraged to mingle - examples being dinner halls, dorms, etc. Feel free to even thread about what your family thinks of joining the Academy, too. Week 2, [Started 23/02/2014] Course One You are required to be in at least one thread (remember the magic rule, life before second life - if you need to temporarily drop out hit my PM box).
