Blythe Caste finished

It's a simple spark. An ignition among many cinders that sent this fiery female to life. She was born with a lean body. It always has been that way, since she was a small child. Her metabolism allows her such a slender figure. Her face is angular, but not in a sharp way. It's nicely shaped, rounded where it needs to be and with appropriately placed cheek bones. Blythe was born with dark black hair, though as she grew older it became somewhat more dull. As for her eyes, they're the most interesting part of her features. They are brown, however they are almost an umber, with a slight fire inside of them. They're not murky or plain, and in the right lights have an almost crimson glint to them.

Blythe has always been a more alternative child. In the district of fishing, she hasn't always been into the colors that the others have. She grew up as a kid of the darkness. She enjoys the color black, and darker blues and violets. She wears these colors very often, making them her notary choice. In her current age, she's filled out in her more adult places, adding curvature to her. The black that she wears mostly is a compliment to her slenderness. Of course, Blythe is one to enjoy beauty. Blessed with a natural prettiness, as if from Aphrodite, has given her an advantage. She doesn't have to work for it, though she enjoys doing her hair in many fashions. Unlike some, she doesn't mind the thought of make up, even though she's only had it a few times in her life. Whenever she can get her hands on it, she likes to experiment. Thank goodness she has dark eyelashes and flawless skin. 

Blythe is a very intelligent girl. She is always looking for the best of a situation. Her logic gives her an upper-hand on most of her life situations. Because of her high understanding of the human psyche, she often likes to play mind games with others. One could say she's a master of manipulation. Through this, she also is very independent. Relying on nobody, she finds herself always having to think for herself. Fear isn't in her vocabulary anymore. However, she has a sense of emptiness in her heart, like she can't ever truly be happy. She yearns for friends, and while she can be really social, it's hard for her to trust anyone beside herself. This comes from her abuse as a child. She's very uncomfortable around strong male presences as well.

When she does make friends, she's a very loyal person. She's the type that will always have your back, even in the worst of situations. Blythe has a hard time losing those she cares about, which is why she doesn't let many people in. So when she finally does, she's fiercely protective of whoever that person is. However, if you get on her bad side, beware. Blythe has a bit of a temper on her, one that is easily set off. It's not recommended to get on her bad side. Even though she doesn't consider herself to have a lot of friends, people her age do look to her as a figure. If she hates someone, usually that person faces some social outcast.

When it comes to her opinion on the games, she's very borderline about it. Her animal side of her wishes she could do something like that. Coming out on top as a victor is a dream that faintly plagues her every now and then. She's a team player, which would be an asset to her. Another bonus for her is her emotional detachment. She could care less for how others feel, or what her inner emotions want her to register. It could make her a dangerous killer. But if her emotions did get control of her? It'd be interesting to see the results. 

Blythe was born to a woman named Remilla Caste. A father figure has never been in Blythe's life, and her mother refused to speak ever about it before her death years later. Blythe grew up in a simplistic atmosphere. Her mother did her best to provide for her beautiful daughter, and later baby boy who was Blythe's half brother. Blythe and her mother were very close, even when Blythe's brother Cozad came into the picture. Both of them shared the duties of taking care of Cozad equally. When it came time for Blythe to be in school, she was a very smart student. She worked diligently and never failed at anything she did. Swimming was something she learned very quickly, and she had little fear of the water, like most District 4 kids.

Blythe continued on her life as an excellent student and loving sister to her growing brother. However, her mother began to change. Violence entered their household when Remilla found a new man to help the trio. This man wasn't a caring, loving, or tender soul. His heart was full of hatred and lust. Blythe was sexually abused by her step father, which has given her a fear of the male counterpart, especially ones that are commanding and aggressive. Blythe has tried to forget a lot of it over the years, and has bottled a lot of the emotion up inside of her. Eventually, things got worse for Blythe. Her brother Cozad became deathly ill, and died after a year of fighting for his life. Blythe was at the age of 8 when this happened, and he at the age of 6. Remilla fell into depression after that, and Blythe ended up moving in with her aunt to escape the abuse of her step father and mother.

Blythe after that began to focus on different things in her life. The games started to become a reality to her. She focused on wielding throwing knives and daggers. School was still a big focus for her, and she also began to work in the fishing part of her district. Blythe has been doing these things since the age of 10, and takes pride in her multiple skills. As towards her social life, Blythe is one to go out and play different types of mind games. She takes pride in things like chess, though its rare that she can ever play.

Entering into modern days, she still lives with her aunt. They are the only two in the household, and Blythe has become much more sheltered. However Blythe has found things that she loves to do, like girly things. Her hair is always perfect, and she makes sure she is perfect all the time. Some say she's a show off, but she argues that taking pride in appearance is an important thing to do, even if they don't live in the Capitol. Blythe has no interest in relationships yet, or even friendships. Her life is all about improving herself, nothing else.
