Run just a bit farther I said to myself. You will get there I said to myself. Another fairytale I tell myself. I am succeeding I continue to tell myself. I run through the streets in a rampage. I nocked over items all around me. I am almost away from them. Away from panem, away from the capitol and away from district eight. I must keep going. The peacekeepers were catching up to me. I looked back as lamp posts fly by. Each of them turned into more peace keepers as I passed them. They were in hot pursuit of me. No I can make it there. I will make it. Where was I going though? I had no clue. That is a big fault in my plan. Another one is why would I leave my parents behind. I think about it could my fantasy include leaving my parents or mieko for that matter? No way. My running starts to become a bit iffy as I start thinking about my get away. I start tripping a bit. This is only a fantasy Ruby I tell myself. I am not actually leaving my parents, and my fantasy may not be even to get away from the capitol and them. Before I knew it I tripped. I was so caught up in this thought process that I forgot that I was even acting out my own fantasy. UGH face first my head hit the ground. I layed there for a bit breathing. Then I started to pick myself up off the ground. I sat up on the ground. My leg was scarped. " eak" I squealed as I saw the cut on my knee." Umm." I voice what I was thinking in my mind but finished it in my mind. What to do now? My parents won't like that I was hurt, should I tell them? I don't know. I shake my head and look at my cut a bit more.
