PART II: APPEARANCE
Midnight colored silk serves as your hair. It is brushed back neatly behind your shoulders. Your hair doesn't "cascade gently" down your back. It just falls wherever it falls. Your ebony locks of hair stops at your shoulder blades and bangs hang over your forehead. Your hair is cut in a blunt, straight line. There isn't much style to your hair - you don't even braid it or tie it up to look nicer, like most girls in District Four would do. You don't believe it is worth your time.

Your skin is peaches and cream. You stand out a little among the rest of District Four. The people that surround you have sun kissed skin and hair that's been bleached blonde by the sun. You stay indoors most of the time, so you're not exposed to the sun very much.

You are beautiful, but not in that beachy, sun kissed way, like most District Four girls. You are not elegant, like the rich people of District Four. You are beautiful in a, innocent, childlike way, like a young heiress that gasps when she hears a bad word. But your beauty is cast aside by your family and most of the district, because you are an outcast and therefor cannot be allowed to be beautiful.

The irises of your eyes are bright pale green. Your irises are like the leaves of a delicate flower that grows in the garden of a wealthy family. A few spots of honey brown are mixed with the light green in your eyes, but there is not enough of this color to make your eyes hazel. You have heard people say, "The eyes are the windows to the soul." They say that eyes have depths, that they show emotion. Yours do not. They have no fathoms, hold nothing. They always appear to be dull. Above these eyes are thin, dark eyebrows that are covered up by your bangs.

Your nose is thin with a narrow bridge and small nostrils. The bridge of your nose is slightly crooked, but this flaw can only be seen if it is sought. (In your case, people do look for your flaws.) Underneath your small nose are a pair of small lips. They are pale pink, like a seashell.

You are tall (5'8) and slender. You have a twig-like, very non-feminine structure. Your chest is almost nonexistent and you have narrow hips but have soft curves (they can barely be seen). Your legs are thin and long, like your nimble fingers. Others see your figure as undesirable, but you couldn't care less about what you look like (although you want people to like you, you really don't want to do any work on yourself).

PART III: PERSONALITY
You are an outcast, and outcasts are loners. You have very few friends, who are also outcasts. You choose not the wallow in sadness, and strive to earn respect and attention. Your efforts are cast aside (people don't seem to like attention-seekers), though, so you spend your time indoors, crafting useful items.

Perhaps you would have friends if you weren't the way you are. People always say that honesty is the best policy, but not in your case. You are honest about everything and you speak your mind, hiding nothing from the public. Some things that you say are inconsiderate and rude, which makes you unlikable and hard to get along with. You don't know how to behave nor do you know what should be said and what should not be said: you were never taught - how could you know?

There is an upside to you, although that upside goes unacknowledged. You are bubbly, and you used to laugh and talk a lot more, but you don't very often because you know that no one wants to hear you speak. You love to talk and laugh and have fun, but when you have no one to do that with, you don't talk or laugh or have fun.

Your family says that the only thing you're good for is making fishhooks. You have always been a hyper child (which has annoyed your family) and you always have to be doing something with your hands. So you pass time by crafting things such as fishhooks and other various knots. You learned this when you were young and caught on quickly - you've always been a quick learner.

PART IV: HISTORY
You were born into privilege and riches. The Staite family is an old, prestigious family. But recently, a scandal is tearing the Staites apart. A member of the Staite family, Clymene Staite, committed a crime and was shipped off to the Capitol to become an Avox. The scandal brought shame to your family and they have tried to hide it from the public.

They are trying to hide Clymene's shame, just like they try to hide you from the public, because you also bring shame to the family. Your not sure what you did, but you know that you're not the only one who is considered a disgrace to the Staite family. Daria, your relative, is deaf and is also considered a disgrace, along with Ele, who is technically not even a Staite because he is the son of Clymene's brother, but the Staites adopted him into the family.

You are not a Staite, at least not in public.

Your father is Oz Staite, who is married to Mira Staite. But Oz's spouse, Mira, is not your mother. Oz had an affair with another woman, and the result of that affair was you. After your birth, Oz took custody of you. Maybe your mother is dead, or maybe she gave you up - you'd never know because no one told you why you never met her. The people that you live with, your "family" never liked you, and they do not love you. They're not parents to you, or guardians or any kind. You see them as prison guards, preventing you from achieving your goals and doing great things. They keep you indoors, away from the world, all because they are ashamed of you. (Do they hate you because you aren't Mira's child? Or is it because you're a mistake? You'll never know.) Bitterness is all you have known.

Oh, how you tried to make your family love you, only to fail. You trained hard and showed them what you could do, but they didn't care. They cast your skill aside (apparently, your skill wasn't good enough). You tried to catch fish, but you were no good, and they laughed at you. Eventually, you gave up and settled for craftsmanship, the one thing you are a master at.

You create beautiful, nearly perfect fishhooks that are difficult to break and are capable of catching fish. You also sew, make nets, knit, carve, and and weave. Your room is filled with your beautiful creations that you keep to yourself and share with no one (you don't think anyone will appreciate it). You spend the majority of your time in your room, making your beautiful creations.

The things you make haven't even been shown to your friends. There's only three of them, since not many like you. They are all outcasts, and they're also misfits. But that's okay with you, because you're not picky about your friends. You're lucky to have them, and you take what you can get. You're friends with a drunkard (and gambler), an obsessive pyromaniac, and a clumsy, frightened fourteen-year-old who's scare of their own shadow.

What an odd bunch.

You often wonder what you'll do with your life. Maybe you'll open up a craft and/or a clothing store, filled with items all made by hand. Maybe you'll die before you reach adulthood, or maybe you'll suffer the same fate as Clymene. Maybe you'll be Reaped, and bring glory or more shame to your family.

You're almost bitter about what your future will be like.
