Daughter of a wealthy Capitolite family. She is banished to the Districts for starting a cult (let's call it Helter Skelter for now and maybe always) and goes around D1 decked out in diamonds and excess, recruiting people to enlightenment. Literally worships money. I wouldn't drink the koolaide at her house.
Witnesses... um... something in the Capitol that she interprets as being the Lamb of God/Lion of Judah opening the first four of the seven seals. It's probably some kind of traumatic event and she starts having dreams/premonitions/thinks she is a prophet. Talks about Helter Skelter (Beatles references and cult jokes abound) aka the end times a lot. Her parents start to freak about her ruining their family reputation, so they banish her to the Districts. While napping on the train, she dreams she is riding a white horse with a voice of thunder, a crown of raw diamond spikes atop her head as she seeks the other four prophets of the end of the world and spreads the holy word like a plague.
Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Conquest/Victory/Pestilence/Plague/Antichrist/White Horse — Victoire Othello. "The horseman on the white horse was clad in a showy and barbarous attire." JUST YOU WAIT. I'll show you showy. She's turning her mansion into an unholy cathedral. Gorgeous boa constrictors freely roam a courtyard garden of excess she refers to as Eden, an entire hallway is covered floor to ceiling in gold-dipped locust shells pinned to the walls on both sides (sort of like butterfly displays), and the windows are swapped out with stained glass murals, an altar of raw-cut jewels, an oceanic-looking floor made of swirling blue glass, etc etc.
War/Persecution/Red Horse — ?. "This color, as well as the rider's possession of a great sword, suggests blood that is to be spilled." TBH, if someone from the Four Horsemen allianceafter all, this mini plot is what happens when I stare at your fab alliance gif too longwins the Games, do not be surprised if I harass you into this oops.Sorry not sorry.
Famine/Law-Giver/Scales of Justice/Black Horse — ?. Preferably someone rich, as they are "symbolic of the wealthy and the destructive power of a class gap on a society."
Death/Pale (Green) Horse — Salem Coventry. "Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth." ROFL WILD BEASTS. Obv that is because her cat is AKA Hades, spirit of death.
Victoire moves into a mansion next door to the Grimms in District One. Just because you're banished doesn't mean you lose the right to be fabulous. Makes friends with their maid; they have tea and talk about the apocalypse. Salem's cat likes to bring her sweet little presents of dead porcupines and albino mice and garden snakes and birds and Leo's stolen critters, etc. The small, dead animals are left at Salem's feet, so every time Victoire sees her she is literally surrounded by death. Obv she must be one of the fellow prophets she is looking for. (Please for her cat to have pale green eyes, lol.) Cue dream sequence/premonitions.
Fifth seal — A choir of vengeance.
Sixth seal — A great earthquake, deluge, and world-burning. The Moon goes red with blood, everything crashes in storms, the stars fall to earth, the sea overflows, the sun goes black, and all mankind comes together before the Day of Anger/. ASKJDHALKJDHASLKJDH EARTHQUAKE AND DROUGHT PLOT REFERENCES. PERFECTION.
Seventh seal — Last Judgment. Renewed life.
Seals Reference
She is a hurricane in any kind of weather.
