It's so weird how things just kinda come together lately. First with the Orca's then with Matthew and I, then me and Vy. It all seems to just fit together in this kind of weirdly cut puzzle. Each peice will eventually fit together, but it's when the picture starts coming together and making sense is all that matters. The finished product. That sunday had to be the hardest to deal with. Letting Matthew go back to that place after our day together was just a tease. I miss him like crazy already but as soon as he gets to school, he should get a nice surprise from me in the form of a letter. Today, even though it's just the day after when Vy told me to check up on Brooklyn, I vow not to take it lightly. So, day one... I'm already going to check on the little one. Though, fear still runs deep in me with what happened. Jins can be anywhere. One day... he will pay.
I don't take my time walking to Gala's just because of that fear alone. It's carried so far into my imagination, that even my sleep has suffered since that day. With an escaping yawn, I reach her door quickly, and without hesiatation, I knock several times and begin to wait on her to show up at the door. When more than a few minutes pass, I bang on the door again and turn around to wait. I stare out into the yard of her place and begin to just look around. Pure and utter silence rings out.
There in the distance, behind the tree, I see something move and my heart skips a beat as I back up with a gasp. My eyes perceive something I don't comprehend and for a moment, I see his face staring at me. His menacing eyes as they seem to want to glow like hot embers still hot from a fire. My hand reaches my face and it covers my mouth for a moment before I close my eyes, drop my head and take a few heavy breaths.
It's just an illusion. It's not real. I tell myself. I urge myself to make that the truth. Jins' isn't waiting on me. Jins isnt there at the end of the street waiting behind some tree. It's all in my head. All part of the power that Jin's seems to hold over me without even being here. I begin to wonder if he can sense it when I think of him or what he's done to me. I wonder how I keep gaining friends all of a sudden and think that somehow, they will just disappear like all the others.
I turn back to the door of the house because now, I've let my imagination run wild and I really dont want to walk back by myself to go pick up Brooklyn. I bring my hand up to the door and hit it three more times. "Gala. It's Kyanite. Are you home?"
